IBM® Tivoli® Netcool/Impact 6.1.1.1 is available. A description of requirements andgetting-started issues are addressed in this document.

Description

Fix pack 1 includes the following enhancements:v UI Provider Enhancements, you can show status and percentage in topology,

tree, table, and list widgets.v UI Provider - Large table model support for Apache Derby and HSQLDB

databases.v OSLC security requirements can be enabled or disabled by using a script.v Jabber Updates to use the smack library.v Web Documenter security enhancements. The Web Documenter can be viewed

only by a logged in user.v Additional policy functions, Escape, and Illegal to escape special characters and

filter content from strings.v DSA enhancements, that alert you when you switch between failover and

failback configuration. Improved handling of network timeouts.v Serviceability improvements, which include improved error messages for

GetHTTP and services.v Configuring Netcool/Impact to send messages to Tivoli Monitoring Universal

Message Console. Now uses the ITMLibraryFunctions.zip file that is availablefor download from Netcool/Impact devWorks wiki in the Scenarios and Examplespage.

v Policy preferences updates that include the option to enable the table preferencefor navigation to enhance performance.

Installing IBM Tivoli Netcool/Impact 6.1.1.1
