Then the “Mixed Mutts” pattern is the perfect project for you! Garden. Each month throughout the year you will receive a beautiful floral design to embroider, and at the end of the year you will have all of the designs to make this lovely quilt. The designs can also be used to make wall hangings, table runners, or pillows. Each embroidered applique design will be sized so you can embroider them in either your Jumbo, Maxi, Oval or Midi hoops. Come and learn to do embroidered applique and join us for this fun class. This class requires the purchase of the book Pocketful of Posies by Brandywine Designs.

RIBBON CANDY BOM Held on the 3rd Thursday Jan. 21, Feb. 18, Mar. 18; 10 am to 1 pm Instructor: Ann Shobert, sannmarie50@aol.com Fee: $25The Ribbon Candy quilt is a Queen sized 10 month BOM program. We will meet on the third Thursday each month from 10 am to 1 pm. If that date is not convenient you are welcome to make your block at any of my classes such as Embroidery Club or the Wooly Critters BOM. The beautiful pastel fabrics in this kit are made by Wilmington Batiks. At each class, a kit with the fabrics and instructions will be provided for you to make the blocks for the month. Lastly I hope to introduce you to the many videos in the Art and Stitch program that will help you understand how Art and Stitch works. My goal is to help you gain the confidence to start using this powerful software to enhance your Q-Matic quilting experience.

Sit-n-Sew is designed as a relaxing, enjoyable day spent with people who have the same love of sewing. The 4th Friday of each month will feature a small project that can be completed in 1 or 2 classes. Projects might include mug rugs, table mats, place mats, pin cushions, pillows, etc. These projects may or may not include machine embroidery. Participants are responsible for purchasing patterns and all materials but will be provided with help, instruction and comradery. Feb. and March’s project is a machine cover by Bernina, designed to fit anything from a long arm to an 800, 700, 500 or 400 machine. The first class will explore getting a design from the internet thru stitching that design on your machine. The second class constructs the project. Join in on the fun!

The fabrics & colors in Rainbow of Jewels are stunning. This quilt, which finishes at about 100” x 100”, is a block of the month. Each block features a pieced basket & appliqued flowers. Approximate time to complete is 4 months. Limited quantities of kits are available with no chance of reordering fabrics. However, there remains a chance of obtaining just the pattern when kits are gone. Reserve your kit & join us for a fun time constructing this beautiful quilt.
