It is with tremendous pride and pleasure that we release this annual report for the year 2014.Many doubted that it would be possible, but a small group of determined residents and businessowners believed in the potential of this great organization.

At the beginning of last year, we found ourselves not in the best of health as an organization. Wespent the first two quarters making sure that our infrastructure was in place, both physically andfinancially, so that we could begin to serve our businesses with a solid foundation. It was adaunting task but within six months, we were able to regain our accreditation and fully restore ourfunding with the Department of Small and Local Business Development.

We have not looked back since. We've held record setting events for this area, awarded anunprecedented amount of grant funding directly to our businesses and have been a powerful voicein the city as we advocate on behalf of the business owners within our corridor. It is not lost on us

that as the area is seeing the rebirth of North Capitol Main Street, we are also seeing an uptick indevelopment activity and opening of new businesses along the corridor as well.

We welcome your support and participation as we continue to expand. By supporting thisorganization either financially or by volunteering you will be greatly enhancing this community, itsbusinesses and residents. We are looking forward to even greater growth and the opportunity tocontinue to serve you at an even greater capacity. Please continue to meet us in North Capitol DC!
