As per the program, our program was scheduled from 13 January 2020 to 18 January 2020.Our destination was the village named Kallamundkur and we have managed to cover all the parts of this village trying to aware the village people about modern technologies and necessities. We had covered more than 50 houses each day in groups by taking survey and spreading awareness for the first 2 days and the rest 3 days we shared our time with school students giving them information about Digital Library and career guidance. Our program was coordinated by our faculties Mr. Avinash Patil and Mr. Suraj Shet. We have extreme gratitude to our beloved Head of Department Dr. Ganesh Mogaveer for helping us complete this event. For the accomplishment of this event, we would be thankful to our chairman Mr. Rajesh Chouta, our principal Dr. G L Easwara Prasad and the PDO of the village Kallamundkar, Mr.Uggappa. Report on “Digital India Awareness Program”

Introduction

Digital Awareness Program, which was made compulsory by All India Council for

Technical Studies (AICTE) for technical education and to promote development in the

country in a coordinated and integrated manner by the upcoming generation.

As per the program, our program was scheduled from 13 January 2020 to 18

January 2020.Our destination was the village named Kallamundkur and we have managed to

cover all the parts of this village trying to aware the village people about modern

technologies and necessities. We had covered more than 50 houses each day in groups by

taking survey and spreading awareness for the first 2 days and the rest 3 days we shared our

time with school students giving them information about Digital Library and career guidance.

Our program was coordinated by our faculties Mr. Avinash Patil and Mr. Suraj Shet.

We have extreme gratitude to our beloved Head of Department Dr. Ganesh Mogaveer for

helping us complete this event. For the accomplishment of this event, we would be thankful

Day 1

Title: Door to door “Digital awareness in Kallamundkur village”

Duration: Morning Session (8.00 AM to 12.00 PM)

Afternoon Session (01.00 PM to 5.00 PM)

Keynotes of Activity:

Dr. Ganesh Mogaveer, our HOD gave us the brief information regarding the village, the

village people and our behavior towards the village people. We started our journey by bus

no.8 to the village Kallamundkur at 8am. It was a warm place with good bunch of people. We

were instructed to cover each and every house of the area allotted for the respective groups

and make them aware about the various necessities of our country nowadays. It includes

Aadhar card, Passport, CBSE education, EPFO, Pay Income tax, PMAY, Pan card and Bharat

gas. We had a good time with the people but on the first day we had interactions more with

educated people in the village. They almost knew about the technologies we were about to

aware them but then also we completed our work successfully. We also had good

conversations and we discussed about their queries about their life in the village. Later, we

reached our college at 5 in the afternoon and we quickly rushed to our classes and completed

our written report and discussed about the plan about the next day.

Day 2

Title: Door to door “Digital awareness in Kallamundkur village”

Keynotes of Activity:

On Day 2, we had the same survey work in a different place with different villagers. We

started our journey in the same bus no.8 and we found our destination was Niddodi, a place in

the village Kallamundkur. As the first day, our faculties made us into groups and advised us

to set our way of survey in the Google Earth app. Niddodi was less advanced than

Kallamundkur. Starting, the people here were not ready to listen what we have to convey but

later we managed to aware them about the various necessities of our country like pan card,

Aadhar card, passport, google pay, Digi locker, online gas booking etc. Compared to the

villagers we met on the previous day, the villagers here had less knowledge about the

technologies. We had our lunch from a temple which helped us discuss with villagers about

the problems they had in the village. Later, we reached to the college and started writing our

written report and the plan for the next day.

Day 3

Title: “National Digital Library Demonstration and Career Guidance to

School Students”

Date: 16/01/2020

Duration: Morning Session (8.00 AM to 12.00 PM)

Afternoon Session (01.00 PM to 5.00 PM)

Target Audience: Sarvodhaya High School Kallamundkur

Keynotes of Activity:

On Day 3, we were about to have a different experience. We had to go to the government

school of the village Kallamundkur. We were allotted a time of 1 hour. There our faculties

gave a brief description about our activity. Our students gave them information about the E -

Learning techniques and the Digital Library. Later they prepared a career guidance to

students of 8, 9 and 10 std students which we hope was helpful for them. We also enquired

about the problems happening in schools for the students. Here, only some students were

interactive. We reached the college late at 4 and rushed to our class and planned for the next

day.

Day 4

Title: “National Digital Library Demonstration and Career Guidance to

School Students”

Afternoon Session (01.00 PM to 5.00 PM)

Target Audience: Shree Durga English Medium School and ITI college Students

Kallamundkur

Keynotes of Activity:

On Day 4, we visited the Shree Durga English Medium School. Here, we found the students

were more interactive and active than the other schools. Their communication skills in

English was commentable. As the other schools, here also our classmates gave their valuable

information based on Digital Library, their uses and how to use it. Later, we gave them career

guidance and various students from the school talked about their ambitions and passion. Their

faculties were also very cooperative. We reached our college at 4 and signed our attendance

register, wrote our written report and we left.

Day 5

Title: “National Digital Library Demonstration and Career Guidance to

School Students”

Target Audience: Mukti Prakash High School

Keynotes of Activity:

On the last day, we left to the same village but to a different school. It was far from other

schools and was situated in a calm and quiet with a Church. There, the students were some

what interactive. We reached the destination and we took our seats. Our classmates gave

career guidance and later our faculty also gave them support. They also gave their

information on the Digital Library. They greeted us very well. Our program was finished and

we were returning to our college. While returning in bus, we had so much fun.
