Navscribe is used by Doctors to send and receive voice based recorded observations of their patients to medical transciptionists, who convert the voice based files into text based files and resend it to the Doctors. This application can dramatically reduce a Doctor’s work load thereby allowing the Doctor to concentrate on other issues on hand.
The application is very user friendly and the time to learn is minimal, thus reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for the owner. The application can keep track of the patient’s history, thus providing the Doctor, access to the patient’s history within a few clicks.
The application features a host of functions to provide information at a mere click of buttons. It’s extremely simple, reliable and secure. The objective is to provide end-to-end solution for automation of the transcription work flow, process and gain control over the operations, process and expenditure.
• Navscribe automatically changes the name of the file to a pre-specified format by the user. The format can specify the time and date at which the file was sent.
• All transmitted data are encrypted using 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. Only the key that has been used to encrypt data can decrypt it, thus improving security.
• Back up of all the files is maintained securely in a server, to ensure that no data is lost even in case of any disaster. Files are automatically duplicated and stored safely in a locked place.
• Navscribe.com, a hosted site maintains a history of all the transactions carried out by any Doctor. Options are available to retrieve files pertaining to a particular patient, from a specific period of time, thus making access to history extremely simple and time saving.
• The site uses a secured connection - denoted by HTTPS in the URL – in communicate between the users and the server. That is it uses an added encryption layer, thus providing security to all communicated data and ensuring that no access is provided for fraudsters or imposters.
• Comprehensible billing tool to provide complete information on the total billing for a particular file, group of users and period.
• Auto routing of files from specific Doctors to specific transcriptionists, thus saving time on work allocation and monitoring. Also allows tracking of work progress.
