The next SNA event is a brown bag seminar with Lt. Andy Hesser, NATO task force staff member for the blockade of Yugoslavia. Hesser will discuss the issues of blockade operations of Yugo­slavia in Spanagel - 117 on Wed., Feb. 10 at 12: 10 p.m.

VOLUNTEER ASSISTANTS

The Family Service Center is seeking two volunteers to work as administrative assistants.

Assistance is needed in the PFM/ T AMP/SEAP programs. Duties will involve clerical skills, some typing, computer usage, and filing.

course, were the foursome of Terry Hopkins, Mike Cavanah, Jim Broadwater

Barbara McNitt Ballroom at 7 p.m.

' The feature presentation will be

'Cramalot," a musical comedy performed by fellow students and spouses, giving .a hwnorous and entertaining look at fanuly and student life at NPS.

The performance will be directed by Deryl Hess, NPS Protestant Chapel choir director. •

In addition to the play, various community organizations will be offering information on activities, services and volunteer opportunities in the area. Displays of the Naval Postgraduate School will be available, too.

SAFETY AWARD MWR & METEOROLOGY

Competition was keen among the several NPS departments taking part in the annual Superintendent's Departmen­tal Safety Award program. There are two levels of competition small and large departments.

Morale, Welfare and Recreation Office won top honors in the large department category. The Small Depart- • mental Safety Award went to the Meteo­rology Department.

Both departments were presented the safety awards during ceremonies in the quarterdecklounge,Jan.8, 1993.
