MEMORANDUM FOR THE MILITARY REPRESENTATIVES
SUBJECT: Canadian Mutual Aid Program 1956-57
Reference: CJS 335“! dated 28 Feb 56
1. By reference, the Canadian Joint Staff has forwarded to the
Standing Group details of Army and' Air Force equipment which is
offered under the Canadian Mutual Aid Program 1956-57»
2. Details of the equipment are contained in the following
Appendices :
Appendix "A" - Array Equipment.
Appendix "B" - Air Force Equipment.
3. No items of Naval equipment are being offered at present,
4. It should be noted that Serials A-2 and A -3 in Appendix "A"
are complementary equipments.
5. The Standing Group requests:
a. That nations wishing to bid for the equipment listed
in Appendices "A" and "B" should submit their bids in time to
reach the Standing Group by 8 May 1956.
b. That nations not wishing to bid should so inform the
Standing Group before 8 May 1956.

6 . As the Canadian authorities wish to dispose of this
equipment expeditiously, nations are requested to ensure that their
bids are submitted by the date given above. Delays in submission in
the past have caused inconvenience to the Canadian authorities.
