CHRIST IS RISEN!
INDEED HE IS RISEN!
PASCHA: On Sunday May 5th we Orthodox Christianscelebrate the
Feasts of Feasts, +Our Lords Holy
Resurrection! We greet each other with the words:
Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen! Christos Voskrese!
Voistinu Voskrese! The Resurrection of Jesus Christ
from the dead is the center of the Christian faith.
Without the Resurrection there would be no faith. Thisis the day
that the Lord has made, let us Rejoice and Be
Glad in it!
Parish Luncheon: Everyone is invited to the Parish
home to gather as a community of believers and enjoy
each others fellowship on this the Feasts of Feasts!
Please stay after the Divine Liturgy and join us in theparish
home for a beautiful prepared meal.
NO KNEELING IN CHURCH: During the Paschal
season from Pascha until Pentecost there is no kneeling

in church. WE will begin kneeling again on Pentecost
Sunday when Father John reads the kneeling prayers.
WE ARE IN NEED OF THESE ITEMS: Would you
like to help out and defray the cost of these for the year!
Charcoal / Incense $400
PARAFFIN: OIL For Lamps: $600 per year
ALTAR COVERS: GOLD $2500 a set / $1500 has
been donated so far for this project!
ALTAR BOYS STICHARIONS: $2100 for FOUR
PARISH HOME WASHING MACHINE: $470
Pirohi Fundraiser! Last month we began a new
initiative here in our parish that has been successful so
far. After two sales the church has realized a profit of
over $700. We thank those who helped prepare these
delicious delicacies. Our next sale will be held in
September. God Bless All for their time and talents!
May 12th: HAPPY MOTHERS DAY to our living
mothers of our parish. On this day it is customary for
our Mothers to receive a flower in their honor. Please
take the time to Thank your mother for all that she has
done in your life. We wish them all Many Years! Please
say a prayer for the departed mothers of our parish!

Sunday May 12th THOMAS SUNDAY: Please remember
that the Divine Liturgy on this day is celebrated at 8AM
due to Father John holding graveside services on this
day beginning at 9AM.
CONGRATULATIONS: On Saturday May 11th,
Barbara Prokopiuk will be graduating with a B.S from
Stockton College. We as a parish family would like to
extend our best wishes to the Prokopiuk family on the
occasion of this milestone. Many Years Barbara! Christ
Is Risen!
GENERAL CONFESSION: Our next General
Confession will be held on Sunday June 2nd at 9:30 AM.
DISTINGUISHED DIOCESAN DONORS: His Grace
Bishop Michael began this initiative to support the
many different projects in our diocese. If you would like
to make a donation to this project there are forms at the
candle desk that can be used. Please see Matushka
Ludmila at the candle desk to pick up the forms.
PARISH HOME HALL FOR RENT: Do you have a
special occasion coming up? A Birthday Party,
Christening, or Wedding! What better place then to
celebrate it in our newly renovated parish home facility.
Please see Protodeacon John or Matushka Ludmila to
reserve a date!
