REFLECTIONS – Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time - Consider the things that worry and concern you. How do you attempt to deal with them? The reading from Philippians reminds us to present our needs to God in every form of prayer. Worry can distract us from paying attention to the present moment and it does nothing to resolve the problem. The next time you find your thoughts troubled by worry, try asking the Spirit to help you. Ask for God’s peace and the insight to see the opportunities and graces hidden in this worry. Pray for the wisdom to see what you can do and the fortitude to do it.
“Live according to what you have learned and accepted . . . Then will the God of peace be with you.” - Philippians 4:9

Acme Mausoleum Company has recently complet-ed construction on our new mausoleums here at Nativity. With the increasing cost of construction, prices have gone up on the new mausoleum crypts. Nativity of Our Lady has for sale some crypts in our previously-constructed mausoleums. I wanted to give parishioners an opportunity to buy crypts in our older mausoleum at reduced prices. Nativity of Our Lady currently has 6 double crypts on the top row for $8,190 each. The price for a double crypt on the top row in the new mausoleum is $9,850 each. Nativity of Our Lady has 1 single crypt on the top row for $3,395. The price for a single crypt on the top row in the new mausoleum is $5,025. If anyone is interested in considering the purchase of these Nativity-owned crypts at the cheaper prices, please call our church office and we can show you where they are located. God Bless, Fr. Mario
Survivor of Suicide Support Group The death of a loved one is never easy and grief is experienced differently for everyone. The Jacob Crouch Suicide Prevention Services and the Office of Marriage and Family Life are forming a support group especially tailored for survivors of suicide. This group will provide a safe place for those who have lost a loved one to suicide to share their strug-gles, experiences, and pain as they struggle to regain home and strength. The group will be facilitated by a licensed counselor and is open to all survivors of sui-cide over the age of 18. The group will meet on two evenings a month. Please call Kelley Chapman at 337-261-5653 for more information and to register.
