Training material design and variety is critical– Game-design application to CPR skill practice– Use of simulation to hone decision making in emergency situations– Online training will go beyond linear and branching programming to

embrace adaptive course design, especially for refresher training– Event management will be included in instruction

» Pit crew approach will be taught to lay rescuers in the workplace and the community

– End-of-course “testing” via completing a hands-on scenario– Regular post-course reinforcement of skills via materials, emails,

apps and team drills will be an integrated part of course delivery
