An association’s alternatives to declining revenues - A case study

Many of our associations have seen hours and industry fund revenues decline.

This module explores the case study of one non-traditional management model

that developed over time to manage multiple construction associations

comprised of both industry-fund and non-industry fund groups. In addition to

lessons in leveraging the many economies of scale, there are examples of

revenue generation and demonstrating value that can be gleaned from

experience with dues-funded associations that translate directly to industry-fund

associations.

The Battle of Nashville was a two-day battle in the Franklin-

Nashville Campaign that represented the end of large-scale

fighting west of the coastal states in the American Civil War.

We will have 3 stops; Winstead Hill, Carter House and Carnton

Plantation.

It was fought at Nashville, TN, on December 15–16, 1864.

The Myths and Facts of Strikes

Lead by Ed Kommers

While an uncommon experience, strikes and work stoppages

can be extremely disruptive to morale and industry success.

There are many emotions and myths that come into play and it

can be difficult for an association exec to sort out the facts and

applicable laws and regulations. This facilitated workshop will

use some recent actual relevant case studies to promote

discussion about potential actions and strategies for the

association executive.
