Tuesday June 23, 2020 EXTRA FARE Jack Daniels – Distillery Tour 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Tuesday Extra Fare has become the tradition on Tuesday of convention week, the NSE is delighted to announce this continuation with the availability of a special event. This year, the destination is a limited excursion to the legendary home of Old #7, the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN. Only 110 seats will be available for this trip. Also, there are some physical restrictions to this iconic National Registered historical site (1972), which include walks of ½ mile in distance and stair climbs totaling 155 steps. While, the county which encompasses Lynchburg is “dry”, it is possible on site to purchase a souvenir bottle of Old #7, but the offering is limited to one product and is constantly changing. A little known fact is that Old #7 was the personal favorite of the legendary Chairman of the Board (Frank Sinatra) to the point where a bottle was included for his final gig. Additionally, after the tour, we will enjoy a unique Tennessee dining experience for lunch at JIM’N Nick’s community BAR-B-Q. Arrival Day - Official start of the convention Wednesday, June 24, 2020 Wednesday Home Layout Tours #1 8:00 am to Noon & 12:30 to 4:30 pm This is the first of our Nashville area layout tours.
