Sheree Lee met with her group and came up with a suggestion for the “turn/reposition” documentationOur decision was “Side to side movement >1 x/hr” Side to side would mean the patient was on a different body part. This is to describe children who are restless and in motion and adults that are turning back in forth in bed when restlessRevisit in order to give feedback from Sheree Lee adding “unassisted” to above

Everyone is in agreement with add the word “unassisted” to the description. From Sheree LeeWill start 1/29/13

ED will be adding an option under pain drop down that will be visible for all. Adding “see ED orders in StarPanel” will allow inpatient nurses to more clearly locate medication documentation for patients who received treatment in the ED.

Could we have a line in HED Line management under PICC and CVC that says, "Daily Assessment of Need" like we have for foley catheters?

Intentionally not added since the work would land on nursing and it is a provider function to reassess. Foleys are part of a nurse driven protocol and it is appropriate to have the “daily assessment of need”. Will have to check with Barbara Martin.

Discussion about art line documentation - moving to line management build Exploring options – it is not ready to showImportant to know that all items using the “line management” method of documenting (hour glass with start and stop fields) MUST be ended. These dates are reported as “line days” and are skewed with IVs (and other documentation) is not correctly ended in documentation.Other dashboards shared from starpanel actions menu including vascular access, wound management, and priority problems.
