Synopsis A man and a woman, while looking for casual sex, get naked and engage in a conversation about what ’s not being said. The encounter sparks a connection neither one expected. Naked Truth is a short film about a young couple that is trying to make a physical connection, but discover a deeper connection along the way.
Tony Chiu was born in Kowloon, Hong Kong and moved to Los Angeles, California while still a baby. Growing up, he caught the “filmmaking bug” which has cemented his career path. Since graduating from U.S.C. in 1995 with a bachelor’s arts degree in film production, Tony has worked in various capacities from assistant cameraman, editorial assistant, and director’s assistant on major motion pictures such as Broken Arrow, Face/Off, and Red Cliff. With the knowledge gained through these years of experience, he has produced, directed, shot, and/or edited numerous short films and independent feature films. Currently, Tony is developing several story ideas for feature film projects.

Joe Tong is Vietnamese/Chinese born in Malaysia and grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Joe currently resides in Los Angeles and has appeared in numerous commercials, TV shows, and films. Most of his time is spent studying acting and training martial arts. His main martial focus is Wing Chun. The rest of his time is spent practicing yoga and snowboarding. Recent accomplishments include establishing Naked Truth Productions, which is titled after his first short film as a producer. He also co-wrote and acted in it as well.
