NAASF Ski Week January 15-20, 2017
Welcome Back NAASF Steamboat, Ski Town, U.S.A.®
January 15-20, 2017
It seems like just yesterday the first skis were
strapped on, the principal trails were laid out and the ski
area first took shape. Today, we celebrate the amazing
spirit and vision that created Steamboat Ski Area more
than 50 years ago and all that has evolved over that time.
From the first chairlift to the first lesson to the first nonstop
flight, Steamboat has worked to continuously improve the
guest experience.
Steamboat continues to make improvements on
the mountain to make your experience even better. This
winter, we’ve replaced the old Elkhead lift with a detach-
able, high-speed quad. The new lift will reduce ride time
by more than half and substantially improve the guest ex-
perience in the popular Sunshine and Priest Creek areas
of the mountain, especially at lunchtime and end-of-day
egress.
Plus, getting here is easier than ever with nonstop
service from 12 cities across the country, including a new
nonstop flight from San Diego, expanded air service from
Chicago, Dallas, Newark, Seattle and Washington-Dulles,
and convenient connections from more than 300 cities
worldwide.
The home of Champagne Powder® snow offers in-
credible skiing and riding spread over nearly 3,000 acres
of terrain on 165 trails with 18 chairlifts. It’s a winter won-
derland, and we invite you to come play!
