THERE ARE SOME NOUNS IN ENGLISH OF LATIN AND GREEN ORIGIN WHICH DO NOT FORM PLURAL BY ADDING AN –S. THEY ARE VERY COMMON IN THE LANGUAGE OF SCIENCE.
Nouns ending in –us with plurals ending in –i.
