GROUP CLASS DESCRIPTIONSFunctional Mobility & Strength – This workout uses exercises that replicate movements of everyday life. Designed for anyone at an introductory (beginner) stage or older adult using Low impact cardio moves, and resistance are used to improve your muscular endurance, strength and flexibility and increase your energy!
Cardio Sculpt – Burn calories and blast your fitness to the next level! Get your blood flowing with this challenging variety of cardio exercises using a variety of props (i.e. weights, Step, Bosu) and training techniques – intense short intervals and long endurance building movements.
Spin – An instructor led indoor cycling class using a variety of drills and intervals for a great cardio workout! Each ride has a different focus – i.e. longer drills for endurance, short intense drills for strength. A great therapeutic way to work with the knees.
Tabata – Ramp up your anaerobic system, and burn fat with this 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off interval training method.
Total body boot camp Tuesday – Head to toe workout for everybody, using intervals between cardio and weight training. It’s an intense workout that leaves you breathless, but with toned abs and chiseled legs. Bootcamp challenges every muscle in your body and with little rest in between each set; you’re bound to feel the burn and intensity.
Bosu w. cardio and core – Feeling like you have plateaued? Try this invigorating workout and shock the system. It makes otherwise easy moves, like squats, much, much harder by adding an element of instability—which means, of course, a better workout. This class will challenge your balance, motor skills, cardio and core. Using fun cardio combinations and power surges intervals to fire up the anaerobic system. Weekend warrior – Come jump start your heart! Get out stress with shadow boxing intervals and skipping train like a champ. This class will improve your aerobic and anaerobic systems as well as coordination and finishes with a Tai chi cooldown.
HI-low Cardio – Sweat it out ‘Old School’ blended with modern and set to great music.
Yin Yoga – through long held poses, we activate the sense of deep touch or massage within the body. Which has multiple advantages. Creating space within the joint capsules and stretch helps to improve and create a healthy range of mobility.
Hatha Yoga – is the art of motion that encompasses equal, or balanced muscles within the body, through the 6 fundamental motions of the body. Great for anyone
wanting to improve mental clarity, define muscle without bulk, for those wanting a slower pace, balanced muscles and greater mobility.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga - Vinyasa Flow helps build and maintain strong bones, muscles and connective tissue to maintain a high metabolism, healthy posture, and an active and alive body.
Yin/Yang Yoga – Yoga a blending of two modalities, the first half of the class builds heat, while the second half cools down through long held poses that focus on the seasonal meridians for an extra health boost.
Pilates – A class for anyone who wants to move more efficiently. The focus is on developing a foundation of stability, joint mobility and an awareness of optimal movement patterns. Ideal for those undergoing physical therapy.
Latin dance – Mambo, and cha cha, the class away with this fun, low impact class, with easy to follow steps. Geared towards all ages for people wanting to have fun while they exercise.
Functional Strength & Core – Functional Strength and Core can literally be defined as Training that attempts to mimic the specific physiological demands of real-life activities. Using resistance exercises and body weight movements will allow you to be stronger, more flexible, and better equipped to handle day-to-day feats of strength and athleticism and reduce the chance of injury.
Cardio dance – Put the beat in your feet! Let the music be your guide. Cardio Dance offers an array of dance and music genres, including Latino groove ~ swing ~cardio funk ~ Disco and more. Each step is broken down methodically, so you learn and have a successful workout.
Yoga for Core and Hips – Through traditional poses and new innovative isometrics give your muscular system a challenge. This class is for all levels creating muscular balance and endurance - each class ends with 15 minutes of stretching.
Primal Training – using cutting edge programming and tools, learn to bulletproof your body for the sport of life and safely push your limits beyond what you ever thought possible.
Full Body Circuit – A Combination of weights and resistance training coupled with cardio then finishing off with a core strength circuit to create a full body workout.
Slow Flow – Combination of Vinyasa Flow and Hatha creating a gentle rhythm while learning postures and how to move, breathe and stretch between poses. Slow Flow brings the element of time into your practice. Open to all levels
