All activities are free and open to allSpecial thanks to all who have helped organise the event including

Sandcastle Building Competition Register your team from 11.30am for the following classes

Kids and young people (age 16 and under)

Family and friends (groups including children)

Open (all other teams, clubs, businesses etc)

Architects Build (teams from across Cornwall compete)

Build at any time between noon and 3.30pm. Cast your vote for the ‘People’s Choice’ award at 3.30pm and join our judgesincluding the Mayor of St Ives for prize giving at 4pm.There will be a goody bag for each team as well as some reallygreat prizes donated by St Ives businesses including....

Other beach activities from noon till 4pm Planning for real Contribute ideas and suggestions towards the Neighbourhood Plan for St Ives. Consultation event will be led by St Ives Town Council in the marquee.

Beautiful buildings with Tate St IvesGet inspired by the buildings and architecture of St Ives, or just let your imagination go wild, and come and make your own beautiful building with the Tate St Ives team in the marquee.

Make and fly a mini kiteJules of JB Adventures will help youngsters make and fly their own pocket kites.

If buildings could talk....Shanty Baba will lead a series of walking story tours around the beach to highlight the hidden histories of famous buildings in St Ives.
