INSTRUCCIONES ESPECÍFICAS: - En la primera parte de la guía tienes una serie de fotos con diferentes habilidades las que debes buscar en tu diccionario o traductor. Luego una explicación de lo que es “GOOD AT/BAD AT”. - En el ítem 1, Ud. debe escribir 5 oraciones en inglés utilizando contenidos vistos anteriormente. - En los ítems II y III tienes comprensión lectora donde debes responder en Inglés y de selección múltiple, respectivamente. - En el ítem IV, tienes comprensión auditiva, donde verás y escucharás un video para luego responder sobre lo comprendido. - En el ítem V, Ud. responderá preguntas en inglés, son preguntas personales referente al tema tratado: las habilidades personales - Por último se presentará una reflexión personal, la que deberá responder de forma obligatoria, al tener puntaje asignado.

English Vocabulary: Describe Your Skills Para describir sus habilidades , Ud., puede usar GOOD AT/ BAD AT. Para comprenderlo, lea las siguientes explicaciones:

You can use “good at” or “bad at” to talk about your abilities and skills – what you can do.

Puedes usar GOOD AT /BAD AT para hablar de tus habilidades

GOOD AT significa bueno para

BAD AT significa malo para

For example, to talk about school subjects: (Tu puedes usar Good at (bueno para) o Bad at ( malo o mala para)

“He’s good at French.( El es bueno para el Frances)

“He’s bad at Physics.” ( El es malo para la física)

Because “at” is a preposition, you need to follow it with a noun or a gerund (an “ing” form):

I’m bad at Maths. He’s good at English. You’re good at spelling.

Mire los siguientes ejemplos, compréndalos. Si GOOD AT va seguido de un verbo, debe agregar ING al verbo.

READING COMPREHESION II .-Lea el siguiente texto en Inglés. Responda las preguntas en Inglés (2 points each) 1. As a child Steven Spielberg, the great movie director, used to charge five cents per ticket for his home made movies. He admits he was afraid of everything. He was able to conquer most of his fears by creating movies about what scared him the most.

Now he is able to offer his viewers films that keep them on the edge from the beginning up to the end. Because he respects his visions of how a movie should look like, but also because he respects his colleagues’ wishes, he is able to create on the studio floor a nice atmosphere.

For the future he hopes he will be able to make as many movies as the things that still scare him. He can not imagine himself having a different career and states that he was and will not be tempted to be the producer instead of the director of a movie.
