Erupting Volcanoes!!!

By Jadalyn Murphy

My power point is going to be how volcanoes are made/formed and what volcanoes bring to life again.

How Volcanoes Were Formed • Volcanoes are formed by cracks that poke

through the earths crust.• Magma pushes its way up through the cracks.

That is called a volcano eruption.• When magma pours forth on the surface it is

called lava.• In the photograph of an eruption you can see

the great fountains of lava forming fiery rivers and lakes.

Continued

• Some volcanoes are formed by cinder cones they make new volcanoes and form around old volcanoes to make it brand new.

• Cinder cones make volcanoes erupted once because cinder cones are made out of loose rocks.

• Cinder cones erode quickly in wind or rain.• Cinder cones crater in the middle of a old

volcano were the lava comes out.

What volcanoes bring back to life

• As lava cools down it hardens and forms in to a rock.

• After a volcano erupts everything buried under lava now animals and plants are found in a few short months.

• Life renews itself plants grow between rocks.• Insects and other animals return.

Continued

• Volcanoes bring mountains and islands and new soil to land.

• Many good things can come from the fiery explosions of volcanoes.

• Volcanoes make life possible.

Conclusion

In conclusion volcanoes are formed by little pieces of pebble called cinder. Magma pushes through and comes out as lava. After the lava hardens plants and soil come back to life.
