When the Amish driving a buggy won’t let you pass them.
Less pollution than a city.
It’s very spread out, it takes forever to get somewhere.

ENERGY SOURCES/ PPL
Water power is PPL’s primary renewable energy source, with 11 hydroelectric plants in Montana, two in Pennsylvania and two in Kentucky.
PPL companies have invested billions of dollars in environmental controls and upgrades at its fossil fuel power plants, and continue to make improvements.
PPL has two boiling water reactors with a combined capacity of 2,600 megawatts, making it one of the largest nuclear power plants in the U.S.

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES IN LANCASTER, PA• “Soil erosion is a natural process. Accelerated soil erosion is
not. Accelerated soil erosion results from human earth disturbance. 70% of the sediment that enters rivers and water sheds is a direct result of human activity. Sediment is the largest pollutant of Pennsylvania's surface waters.”
• Farmers spraying their fields with manure and insecticide.
