Kids
Young kids are treat as slaves to work for
the factories. They are kids who are like 7 years
old small, weak and much to learn. There
parents does not have the money to do anything
for them so they have to work to survive. These
kids are payed really little. Non of the kids here
are free and just slaves. The owners or the rich
people calls this business when we call it child
labor. Theses kids are meant for things that
adults couldnt do such as go in a hole or a coal
mind and get all the coals out. A lot of the kids
get injured sometimes even death and nobody
cares for them. Most of these kids have no
education and no LIFE.
Adults
They simply dont get payed much. Same
as the children most of them dont have any
education and are striving for survival. They do
get payed more then the children but still no
enough.
Women
Women are treated as feminine people at
this time. they had little rights and couldnt really
do anything except stay home. But during this
era the factory owners hired them to work for
them.depending on the age of the women the
payed varied. Some ages were payed more then
the men and some were payed way less then
the men. These women worked really hard but
earned little money. these women were abused
and treated as slaves too.

Goal
The goal for the Factory owners were to hire more cheap workers and
earn more money.
This was the time of Capitalism where people got to own there own
things and were in charge of them instead of the government so they
wanted more money.
They wanted to make their factories bigger and their corporation
larger so basically they can get more money.
By hiring more cheap people they can make more items which is more
profit and pay little to the workers so that they get more money for
themselves.
The goals for the rich people are very greedy. All they want is money
and dont care about their workers. they hardly care if they die
working for them or not.
They just want everything to get bigger and larger making more
products to sell or trade with other people or even other countries
so that they can earn more profit and not share with others.
The goal for the lower class men is to survive.
They hardly get any money. Children, women and men work all day and
night and gets barely enough to survive for a day.
The other thing is they wanted to change the system to socialism so
that they can be equal with the rich people and have the same amount
of money.

From the 1970s Korea has grown
tremendously with their industrial

dustrial Revolution - YouTube." YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. Web. 30 Oct. 2011. .
Ending
The idea of Industrial revolution had spread all around
the world bringing good and bad things to the country.
Some countries use socialism where the government is in
charge of all the things and the corporations. Usually
these countries are under communism.
The capitalism countries are going quit well in most
areas. usually this idea is under democracy.
Through this it has proven that Capitalism is more
successful then socialism.
In most of the world, child labor is illegal but somecountries still use children.
Men and Women are treated equal in most countries and are
also payed equally. Now there are female factory owners
giving jobs.
the ending for this is that everything or most things
turns out pretty well in the future.

DEMOCRATIC REFORM
Setting
NORTH AMERICA AND EUROPE
After the industrialization
Spread and Britain sending
more people to colonize other
parts of the world we begin to
find many colonies start to
break off and fight for
independence. New form ofgovernment forms and more
rights were given to people
not just males but also
females and other races.
The time for this starts
from when the
industrialization got in place
and is going on till the the
1900s even till modern day.
Through this it shows how
modern strong countrieswere formed and where they
originally came from and how
people got so much freedom
in some countries.

Colonies vs British Empire
Britain had occupied many parts of the
world such as Parts of North America, Australia,
and New Zealand. They sent colonies there
killing the natives and taking over the land
claiming that God has given it to them.
13 colonies: British took over the east sides
of the current day of USA. They sent pioneersthere to settle. The people living in the 13
colonies taught that they were British but was
treated unfair. They thought that there jobs was
to make a good new place for the British empire
but what they did was work and send it all to
Britain. Britain also collected lots of tax and
was really unfair to the people of the 13
colonies.
USA: After USA had declared
independence from Britain and won the war they
thought it was time to expand the land from the
Atlantic to the pacific. But in order to do that
they had to kick out the natives. Another
problem was when Abraham Lincoln was in
power as the President of the United States the
south and North had a conflict about slavery. So
USA broke into two. The North being USA/
Union led by president Abe Lincoln. The South
was the Confederate States of America led by
President Jefferson Davis. It was a problem
between one nation also known as the US Civil
War or beginning of the Modern Warfare ? as in
Tech wise.
Australia: The british came in and used the
land as their place where they send prisoners
forcing the Aborigines out of the land.
New Zealand: First the British and the
Maoris were ok but then a British wanted full
control bringing conflict.
Ireland: they wanted their rights as the
people of Ireland. They also had a great famine
which killed many and when the British came in
they brought disease and new weapons making
the Irish Population decrease tremendously.
Jews: during world war II the jews were
killed just because they are jews and this is wha
is called zionism during the holocaust.
WOMEN
Women
Women in the US and also
in europe thought that
they arent treated
fairly. Men had way more
rights then the females
and females thought itwasnt fair. Back then
males were the masculine
people and the females
were the feminine. Females
thought this was wrong and
wanted way more rights
then they already had.

The goal for all of these countries was to gain
independence from the British Empire.
For women there goal was to be treated equal
with them men.
The the natives they wanted a place to live
because the british empire took over everything.
For low class men they wanted to be treated
equal by the government.
US Cilvil War: both sides wanted to win for
they believed in.
US and Canada: Wanted to expand their
land from the atlantic to the Pacific and make
their own country massive and powerful.
Jews: Wanted to live and be freed from the
nazis and would stop being persecuted.

EVENTSUS declared independence in July 4th
1776. The Revolutionary war against the british
took a long time but with the US victory USA
became an independent nation away from
britain. They elected George Washington as their
first president. Away from monarchy they are
now a democratic country.
US Cilvil War: The C.S.A against U.S.A. The
war killed many do tho the new weapons and
bullets invented. Most of the industries made
muskets bullets and other weaponry resources.
Independence against Britain
All the countries got their independence.
Some remaining loyal to the British empire
except they are a new country. Ireland gained
independence in 1949. After problems about the
home rule policy and the great famine so the
IRA and Irish army rebelled against the british
empire gaining their independence.
New Zealand gained independence but still
was under the british monarch. That goes the
same for Australia and Canada.
Land Expansion: President Thomas
Jefferson bought the Louisiana territory from
France. Also when the Revolutionary war
ended in 1783 the mississippi river marked
the boundaries of USA. Louisiana Purchase
doubled the land size. Spain giving up
florida. War with mexico also known as the
mexican american war won by america got
Texas territory and the Mexico cession.
Then later the Oregon States joined and
purchase of Gadsen bringing the 48 states
of USA which are all connected. the USA
purchased Alaska from Russia. Russia thought it
was just an icy land but USA discovered oil
bringing lots of money and Alaska being
beautiful and rich state of USA. Hawaii also cam
in finally making the 50 states of USA. US also
owns lots of tropical islands such as guam but
those islands does not count as states but still
US territory.
Manifest Destiny: US thought that it was
their destiny to reach the territory from Atlantic
to Pacific removing a lot of natives to the west.
Trail of Tears is an example when the Cherokees
had to move hundreds of miles by foot killing
many.
French- Indian War: The first europeans to
settle in current day Canada were the French.
One day Britain came attacking the land which
started the war. French and indians tend to get
along so they fought together. The victory went
to britain so French moved to the Quebec sideand britain remained around the Ontario. All
under british rule.
World War II: Zionism and Nazi
Womens Suffrage

government showing what theycan do to impact their
country

Freedom
All of the countries got their independence. USA and Canada
expanded their land in great amount of size now USA being the most
powerful country in the world. Other countries that gained
independence are still loyal to the Empire but are independent.
They are still under the british monarch but has their own
forms of government and has prime minister. Those leaders
were also elected by the people which shows that they have
rights as a citizen. Lots of immigrants had come to USA
making USA a better place and increase in population and
power.
USA vs CSA
USA which is the north won the war ending slavery in the USA. The
war killed many people which decreased the population in
percentage wise.
Jews: The world war two has ended and the jews were now
free. Hitler the leader of the nazi died and the nazi were
gone. Jews had their freedom but were still poor because
their population decreased because they were killed and also
they had no supplies and they still had effects and health
problems from the prison camps.
Women
They finally go their
rights. Now women were
aloud to vote and do
things that men were only
aloud to do. They could
own businesses and they
were equal with the men.
