COLLEGEADMISSIONSCOMMUNITYCOLLEGEAdmission to community college requires one of the following: graduating from high school, passingeither the General Educational Development (GED) Exam or California High School ProficiencyExamination(CHSPE),beingatleast18yearsofage.Atthecommunitycollege,studentscancompletethefirst twoyearsofcollegeandtransferas juniors to4yearuniversities,providedtheyhavesuccessfullycompleted appropriate course work.
