When we travel on bus or on road or at any public means of transport, we talk with people. And the basics of the conversation start with the question, ‘Where are you from?’ Well, the other individual would reply the name of the place s/he belong or even the community s/he from. But, at the 21st century where the people of our country have been demanding the distribution of the nation with regards to caste, creed and other geographical boundaries. No country shall be a prosperous one if it is divided under whatsoever conditions. We are known for our brotherhood, love and most importantly; UNITY throughout the world. If the forthcom-ing constitution is made under such circumstances, our identity of UNITED people of Nepal would be a mere joke to the people of the world. There’s an old saying, ‘all is well when end is well.’ If the political parties can make such constitution that guarantees ‘constitution of the non-fragmented Nepal,’ well, all their past errors will be duly forgiven by the people of Nepal.

An American Union leader and five times the candidate of the Socialist party for President of the US, Eugene Victor Debs had once said, “I have no country to fight for; my country is the earth, and I am a citizen of the world”. It’s hard to learn but no doubt this saying is solely introducing about the saturated character of citizens of earth.

This isn’t the hidden fact that the current societies have soulfully adopted an individual mentality instead of global mentality. In fact the modern shape of this system and an inhuman strategies of current society holders have resulted an unwilling adaptation in separate environment by making their own individual countries.Theoretically, citizens symbolize all those members of the nation who legally deserves the right to live, work, share idea and politically participate in activities of the nation from their related region or area. But, when it comes to suppose the citizen of earth, then the first and the most necessity will count those entire individuals who have an ability to view the world through the vision of Statistical observation by the United States Census Bureau’s in 2013 expresses that the total number of citizen residing in 196 countries of the world is 7.169 Billion. The USCB had figured that the world population exceeded 7 billion on March 12, 2012. If a separate calculation by the UNPF is to be believed, it reached this milestone on October 31st, 2011. With unstoppable time interval, the world’s population is ceaselessly incrementing since the end of the great famine and the Black Death 1350, when it was near 370 million. The quickest growth rates- global population increases above 1.8% per year and in this way the global population is expected to reach between 8.3 and 10.9 billion by 2050.

But what is about the modernization in behavior of citizen towards the current Earth? Unfortunately it is still the same as it used to be in dinosaur era where no emotion and care related to own sur-rounding used to exist which has later resulted destruction.

This won’t be wrong to say most of the human in this 21st have become slave of their own mentality as they have started to live the life from their own. Everyone doesn’t pay interest to do something for their environment. That’s why one doesn’t have to attempt revolutionary move but necessarily needs to adapt in commonness with everyone who needs it. The sense of helping people without expecting anything in return needs to magnify. Whatever be the condition, one shouldn’t spare their denouncement attitude to all acts of injustice. Instead of blaming politicians or representatives for the worst condition, one needs to learn to choose the governing body with active participation. Some are modest but change inviting habits needs to triumph; helping elderly people in walks of their life, avoiding custom of bouncing thrash to streets, cleaning or inspiring other to clean city, pub-lic places et cetera. Social duties needs to get encouraged, entirely dropping off one’s involvement in sex and drug abuse, domestic violence, molestation et cetera.

Promptness should be shown by each citizen in erasing the basic problem like religion conflict, bias mentality, sex discrimination, animal sacrificing et cetera. Finally I would like to suggest everyone to assume themselves not only the part of the world’s population, not only the citizen of their own Nation but efforts as the ambassador of this common Earth considering it’s their personal problem. It is tuff but surely not impossible task to bring heroic revolution one day. And we will be answered; Are we a citizen of this earth?

ARE WE A CITIZEN OF THIS EARTH?

Greetings! Your fans would like to know how you choose to be a musician; precisely a guitarist.Hi! Thank you for the opportunity. Well, music was my dream from my younger days. During my younger days, I used to have a friend named Kiran Rasaily who used to play guitar. He was a fine guitarist. I was very much interested in watching him play guitar. It was he, who ignited the will to play guitar within me. Later, I asked him to teach me play guitar which he happily agreed. But the only problem was that he lived some miles away from my house. I have to learn guitar so, I used to wall all the way to his house and started learning. Some days he wouldn’t be at home and someday he’d be busy with something else. But I didn’t give up. After learning for few months, I got my first guitar. Seeing my dedication and interest in guitar, my father gifted me a guitar which was the happiest moment of my life. I started practicing my guitar and even formed a band for musical festival in Tihar. After I completed my schooling, I came to Kathmandu to peruse my musical dream. The only musical guru I was intending to follow was Mr. Sachin Singh. I met him and said that I want to learn from him. But he said, ‘I’m an old tiger, you better learn with the younger on who’s Gopal Rasaily.’ He even referred me to Gopal Rasaily. It’s been over a decade and still today, I’m learning with him. He’s my musical god father.

Awesome. Tell us about the band Adrian & Frendz that you’re in.After working so many years in the music industry, I finally was able to work together with Adrian Pradhan. In the beginning, we worked as assistance to Adrian Pradhan’s unplugged sessions. Today, it’s been 3 years we’re working as a band ‘Adrian & Frends.’ The band has successfully toured Dubai, Korea and Hong Kong.

Tell us about your solo involvements and performances.Well, I’ve worked for over 5000 songs and hundreds of albums. I’ve been working as a music composer and music arranger over the years. I’ve performed in many places in Nepal and India. A couple of months back, I was one of the privileged musician to perform in the one of the most privileged venue, ‘Royal Albert Hall’ together with Deep Shres-tha, Om Bikram Bista, Yogeshwor Amatya, Deepak Bajracharya, James Pradhan and Tsujil Karmacharya.

Royal Albert Hall huh! How was the historical performance?Though I never expected that I’d be performing in the Royal Albert hall where legends like BB King, Eric Clapton, just to name a couple has performed; it was something be-yond the horizon of my dreams. The venue itself is one of the most prestigious halls for the musicians all over the world. It was a historical event for the fact that we were the first Nepali to perform there. We entered the hall from the basement parking area which led us to our respective practice rooms. Before the show when we went to the stage for ‘sound check,’ I became numb seeing the hall. Words simply can’t describe how I felt upon reaching there. We performed there in front of over 4000 audiences and the feeling was divine. It was an experience of a lifetime. The show itself has given much positive vibration.

Kripa Unplugged gave you a recognition you deserved. What do you have to say?Actually, we went there to record the first episode of the show where we were performing as Adrian & Frendz. Later, the proprietor of Kripa Drishya Entertainment Shiva Lamichane together with Manager Shanta Nepali and Director Aman Pratap Adhikari asked for my spare time or let’s say they asked me if I was free enough to be associated with Kripa Unplugged show as official musician. I said yes and rest is a beautiful history to me. The show has helped me be identified as one of the promising guitarist. The feedbacks form the viewers were very plesant.

Lastly… you have any closing lines?I’d like to thank my fans, critics and MuzBuzz. I’m working on my solo instrumental album which is on the way shortly. I’m busy composing music. I’d expect some feedbacks form my listeners too. I’d like to thank Shiva Lamichane, Shanta Nepali, Aman Pratap Adhikari and Yogeshwor Amatya for trusting me and my work.

Connecting Strings; Sanjeev Baraily

Becoming Sultan of the stringsBorn in Birtamod, Jhapa; Sanjeev Baraily is the name of the most successful contemporary musician/guitarist of today’s promising Nepali music fraternity. ‘A versatile guitar artist’ is what we’d like to say about Sanjeev. His tedious career how-ever wasn’t an ‘overnight dream come true’ thing. Over the past decade, he’d shown his dedication, sincerity and invested all of his time into music as a result of which, his name is no odds to the music fraternity. Making his collaboration from legendary Deep Shrestha, Yogeshwor Amatya, James Pradhan to today’s promising new artist, his musical interpretation in the songs have rightfully earned him a respectable place in the music industry. For this edition of MuzBuzz, we’d be talking to him about his musical endeavors and here’s what he has to say;

Living the Radio Dream; Mandira Dhungel

When she entered the radio 20 years back, it was her compassion of her wish. Now, 20 years hence, Mandira Dhungel is a celebrated name and

one of the standing pillars of youthful radio station Hits FM 91.2. When she recalls the early ‘hey-day,’ her face starts to shine with happiness which is

portrayed by her simple smile. She holds persona of youthfulness and dedication. A radio jockey, she’s currently the Program Director for the station

and has been motivating the contemporaries and the younger generation. For this edition of MuzBuzz, we’ll be talking into the odyssey of her career

and her experiences.

I was really enthusiastic to enter the radio. It was my wish or dream to be a radio jockey. There were many individuals who wished to pursue their career in

radio back then. But, since it was my dream, I was extremely determined for the same. At the same time, Hits FM was established and I applied for the job. I

was selected and today its nearing towards two decades of my radio career. I wonder if time flies.

I don’t find it any differences. People say that it’s easy to take rather to give. But, I’m sharing my experience and it’s no big job. It’s all about getting nostalgic

and recalling your days that you shared with the radio. Recalling the good old times about what you did or what you experienced is always a happy thing.

I don’t find it any differences. People say that it’s easy to take rather to give. But, I’m sharing my experience and it’s no big job. It’s all about getting nostalgic

and recalling your days that you shared with the radio. Recalling the good old times about what you did or what you experienced is always a happy thing.

Well, it’s the basics. I recall the first interview of my life. I recall my colleagues and all those

training sessions. We took training for almost a month when we were finally able to go live.

I was a bit nervous which is pretty natural. But then, I was confident and was trained well. I

still remember the first show Samjhana Ko Koseli where the first song I played was Danny

Denzompa’s Manko Kuralai. The program was scheduled every Saturday from 9 AM to 10

AM. The program is still running and I’m hosting the show. It’s almost been 20 years.

Well, it’s the radio from which people know me as Mandira. I think I’ve

earned it working for the 20 years of my life without thinking about

anything else. But, the best thing is that I was able to form a bond like

a family to the older generation of singers like Premdhowj Pradhan,

Narayan Gopal, Gopal Yonjan, just to name some and then to the

singers like Deep Shrestha, Sangita Rana, Deepak Jangam and finally

the pop generation’s stars like Nabin K Bhattarai, Nima Rumba. What I

meant to say is that I was able to build up

a warm relation with 3 generations of music Nepal has witnessed so far.

You see, time has to run like it always does. Nobody can stop it. This glamour industry

is such a luring one and many are attracted to it due to its charm. Some come to the

industry as a passion while some want to do music for their personal satisfaction. He who

takes music as his career gives his 100% and finds his way to sustain. Such becomes

successful in this industry. Though it may seem that the music market has sunk, ironically,

none of the artist is free. Either they are busy with concerts or abroad tour over the years.

Almost all of the recording studios are fully packed. Composers, lyricists, arrangers, music

company; no one is free. So, I think the industry hasn’t sunk rather people are getting

involved into it. The only thing is that the sales of music albums have sunk. But then, there

are plenty of options like concerts, mahotsavs and other programs through artists are able

to sustain in the industry

Greetings from MuzBuzz! 20 years ago when you joined the radio, Tell us how did it happen?

You interviewed many people throughout your career. How does it feel like being interviewed?

What do you recall the most about your early days in the radio?

What do you recall the most about your early days in the radio?

Singers complain that the music marked has sunk. What are your observations over the

years?

What have you achieved working in Hits FM?

Lastly…

Well, lastly, I’d like to thank you for letting me speak my mind or rather mak-

ing me feel nostalgic. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank my listeners,

my elders and my juniors for assisting me throughout my career.

MixBuzzSeema Sangraula Born to Meena Sangraula and Mina Sangraula on 16th November, Seema Sangraula is known as a talented singer of the fraternity with her essential hit number titled K Nai Runuchha. Hailing from Dharan-11, Seema was always driven into music from her early childhood days when she idolized Céline Dion. Her debut album titled NOTE was enough to prove her musical skills and quickly turned as a sensational new artists. But, for over a couple of years, she stayed idle. MuzBuzz officials had a chance to talk with the singer and here’s how she explains her gap in the music industry;

Hi Seema, you seem to be lost for over a couple of years now. Tell the readers why?Well, the gap of my music would have been just over six months to a year max. But, I had a problem with my health. I had the operation of my Kidney Stone. Soon as I was about to recover, I needed the second operation for the same. So, I couldn’t come up with my music videos and new songs. Songs like K Nai Runu Chara and Lukauna Sakdina were already my preliminary hit songs that helped me to get a respectable position in the industry even with the debut release. However, I had a troublesome time with my kidney stone and a couple of for those complex surgeries for a couple of years.

How’s your health now?Today, I’m doing really fine. I’m very healthy these days.

Coming back to music, what are your gifts to your fans?Well, a song is already completed which is written by Ananda Adhikari and composed by Shikhar Santosh. The song was released some six months ago. The next song is titled You Know You Wanna dance whose audio is already released. It is written and composed by Hercules Basnet and arranged by Almoda Upreti and Biju dai is the recordist. It’s sort of a dancing number. The song is the production by Kripa Digital Studio. The music video is to be made available shortly.

You had your own style of singing. Why sudden change in genre? In the beginning I was into pop genre. Later, I experimented with Spanish Salsa dancing style fast track. I wanted to tryout something different within my comfort zone. First song K Nai Runuchha was a pop number. Despite Pop numbers being in shadow these days, I try to go with the same genre. I tried to experiment with the third number which was folk based fast track dancing number. While working on the same kind of music, I felt like I got monotonous so, I tried to be a bit versatile. It’s just an update for my come-back.

When will the listeners get to have your full studio album?Well, today the sales of music CDs is almost nil. I’m working for the singles. I might just take a couple of years for the next album. I could have done an album combining some songs from the old album and may be a couple of songs or may be three as an album which many singers have done over the years. But, I wanted to give new songs in the new album. So, I won be doing such only for the record. But, it takes time considering finance. Are you feeling some sorts of difficulty returning back to the industry once again?I’m sort of a lucky. Some difficulties arises for sure when there is a gap of a couple of years. But, as I said, I’m a bit lucky when it comes to returning back to the industry. My viewers have supported me so, returning back was a piece of cake because I belong to the industry. These two years, I’ve been rehearsing songs to shape up and boost up my singing. I was training my vocal. People have appreciated the maturity and change in vocal. What are up to these days?I’m up to various stage shows and concerts for the Nepali New Year 2072. Plus, I went to Qatar for my program. Yes, I must say, I’ve been busy doing music and shows to various places in the valley and in Pokhara.

Tell us about your new video. My new music video is directed by Biju Karmacharya and is being edited by Satish Dai. It’s a sort of a dancing number.

Lastly…My identity exist due to the love and support by my fans, listeners and viewers. I’d like to give my special thanks to Kali Prasad Baskota. It’s because of him that I’m here today. Also, I’d like to thank Sanoop Poudel for introducing me to Kali Prasad Baskota. I’d like to thank Gopal Rasaily dai of DoReMi studio where I recorded my song which even bagged music award. Also, like to thank my family. Also, I’d like to thank MuzBuzz Monthly Magazine.

Stress can be a major factor in our day-to-day lives, and while sometimes it

can keep us motivated and productive, too much stress can be overwhelming

and leave you with health issues. Personal growth expert Lyndelle Palmer Clarke

shares her top tips for handling stress and how to overcome it to stay calm.

1. Acknowledge your triggersFirst of all you need to know what triggers stress for you before you can take steps to

change it. Acknowledging those triggers is how you begin to manage and overcome

stress, so it doesn’t end up overwhelming you. For example, cut down on caffeine or

limit your time with people who make you feel stressed. If certain situations make you

stressed, you have two choices. Either learn to face them, or limit your exposure to

them.

2. Find the sourceSometimes it’s not obvious where your stress is coming from. It could be an outside sit-

uation that is obvious, or a subtle recurring thought pattern that triggers you. Either way,

you need to get to the source so you can proactively work to remove it and find peace.

3. Remember to breatheIt might seem simple but when was the last time you actually stopped and took a big

deep conscious breath? Sometimes that’s all it takes to reduce stress and instantly feel

better.

4. Take a day offSometimes all we need is to relax, re-set and rejuvenate. Taking a day off to do nothing

but rest can be all it takes to feel unburdened, energised and inspired again. It takes

emotional intelligence to recognise when we need to rest, and it is the smartest thing

you can do for yourself and those around you.

5. Build a foundationStress is usually not an overnight occurrence. It builds up over when we don’t properly

take care of ourselves. Stress strikes when we don’t have a good foundation in place.

My simple stress relieving checklist includes daily exercise, drinking enough water, yoga

or meditation, a good night sleep, a healthy diet and a positive mindset.

6. Keep a journalWriting in a journal brings the unconscious into the conscious, and unconscious thinking

patterns are very often the cause of stress. By putting those thoughts on paper, you

can begin to reveal the source of your stress and finally empower yourself to let go of

whatever is holding you in that stress pattern.

Plans are in the works in Dallas for an art piece honoring blues guitarist brothers Stevie

Ray and Jimmie Vaughan at a park located just blocks from the home where they grew

up. The Dallas Morning News reports that documentary filmmaker Kirby Warnock has

been working since last year with Kay Kallos, the public art program manager in the City

of Dallas’ Office of Cultural Affairs, to secure a spot in the Oak Cliff neighborhood’s Kiest

Park to honor the late Stevie Ray Vaughan and his older brother, Jimmie.

It’s “been a long, slow slog,” says Warnock, whose 2013 documentary When Dallas

Rocked lamented the lack of a Stevie Ray Vaughan memorial in Dallas. “But it will be

worth it.” Vaughan, a two-time Grammy winner, was killed in a 1990 helicopter crash at

the age of 35.

While many celebrities have headed out to Coachella to take in the sights and the music

sets, Miley Cyrus is spending the weekend doing something else. The singer posted

some photos of herself in the studio with producer Mike Will Made It.

While it’s unclear what the longtime collaborators might be up to, the photos show the

twosome did look like they were having fun together.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are brand new parents! The married couple wel-

comed their first child together, son Silas Randall Timberlake, People reports.

Timberlake and Biel have been married since October 2012. In January, the couple

announced they were pregnant with their first child. “Thank you EVERYONE for the

Bday wishes! This year, I’m getting the GREATEST GIFT EVER. CAN’T WAIT,” he

wrote on Instagram, where he posted a picture of himself kissing her belly. Timberlake

recently accepted the iHeartRadio Innovator Award in Las Vegas, where he made a

special shout-out to Biel.

Mariah Carey has revealed the artwork to her new album, a collection of greatest hits

to coincide with the launch of a Las Vegas residency on May 6 at The Colosseum

at Caesars Palace (no release date has been given and a track list has yet to be

announced).

The singer launched a social campaign with the hashtag #RevealMariah early on April

12 which encouraged fans to click over to mariahcarey.com where they were then

prompted to share news of the reveal in order to expedite the lift of a curtain over the

final image.
