    LITURGY

    ST CUTHBERTS DAY Sunday 18 March. The schedule for St Cuthberts Day is as follows:

    9.00am - Eucharist

    10.00am - Group Photo

    10.15am - Group Cra Acvity (make your own St Cuthbert fridge magnet)

    10.45am - Bring and Share brunch

    11.15am - Water slide (If the weather is ne)

    On St Cuthberts Day, we will also be commissioning people to the following ministries: Mainly

    Music, Childrens Ministry (Sundays), Care Team, Hosts, Lectors, Servers, Clayton View Reading

    Program, musicians. If you parcipate in any of these ministries, please be aware that you willbe invited to come forward, arm your commitment to this ministry and be prayed for.

    FORMATION

    WOLLASTON SHORT COURSES: Wollaston Educaon Centre is oering two new courses:

    Being Anglican in Australia Today and Introducon to Biblical Studies. Please see the current

    GODLY PLAY SESSION FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS: Thurs 19 April 9.00amYou are invited to aend a full Godly Play session in our Parish Centre during the

    school holidays. A Godly Play session, when done fully, usually takes around 90

    minutes. Includes me to arrive and be seled, a story, a me for wondering, a

    me to respond to the story, a feast and me to nish. Based on many years

    of experimentaon and research, Godly Play is widely considered the most

    eecve form of child faith-formaon, but is also growing in popularity amongst adults.

    GODLY PLAY CORE TRAINING - NEW COURSES ADDED: More than thirty people have

    registered for Godly Play Core Training. This has lled all available spaces, however, addional

    courses have been added in both Darlington and Busselton. If you would like to undertake the Godly

    MEDITATION: Meditaon will take place each Wednesday at 5.15pm and Saturday at 8.00am.

    THE ONCE AND FUTURE EUCHARIST: Why do we do what we do in the Eucharist? This event

    at 6pm on Thursday 29 March will begin with a Teaching Eucharist, a walk through the

    APBA liturgy with an explanaon and space for quesons. Aer a light supper, we will then

    celebrate the Eucharist according to the 1662 Book of Common Prayer. 2012 marks the 350thanniversary of this central Anglican work. Its rich cadences and beauful language have

    shaped Anglican identy. Its worth experiencing whether you grew up with it, or whether it is

    completely foreign to you.

    CONNECTEDNESS

    PASTORAL CARE AND COUNSELLING: Father Chris is always available to people in the parish for

    condenal pastoral counselling, or to give advice about seeking other professional help, or for

    the sacrament of reconciliaon (confession). Please feel free to call and make an appointment.

    Remember also that Pastoral Care is Everyones Responsibility. When you noce someone

    who is struggling, run through these opons using the ngers of your hand:

    1. Do what I can. Visit, send a card, make a phone call or drop in something to eat.

    2. Speak to a person I trust. Include someone else who can provide support,

    encouragement and nurture.

    3. Look for other resources. If necessary, encourage the person to see their GP, a

    counsellor or a community support agency.

    4. Refer to the Care Team. If the person needs organised support from the parish, or

    if you feel out of your depth, then contact Father Chris who can then involve the

    Care Team.

    5. Pray. Ensure that you connue to pray for the other person and let them know

    that you are doing so

    A CONVERSATION WITH THE HONOURABLE JUDI MOYLAN MP

    Wednesday 28 March, 6.00pm Ms Moylan is the Member for Pearce in the

    federal parliament. The purpose of the conversaon is for Ms Moylan to listen

    to members of the community talk about government policy and community

    atudes regarding refugees and asylum seekers. You are invited to come to theParish Centre on Wednesday 28 March at 5.00pm and to bring a plate to share.

    FAIR TRADE CHOCOLATE: Many chocolate eggs on sale this Easter have used tracked child

    labour to harvest the cocoa beans. We can act, rstly by eang only ethical

    chocolate this Easter. Look for the fairtrade logo (pictured) to check if it is

    fairtrade. Secondly, we can advocate for chocolate companies to ensure that

    their products are Trak-Free, by using cocoa that has been independently

    Fairtrade cered. Here are some ways to buy fairtrade chocolate:

    1. Cadbury Chocolates (marked with the fairtrade logo) from Big W, Target and IGA

    2. Visit the Oxfam store, 872 Hay St Perth3. Chocolaer Chocolates (marked with the fairtrade logo) from Myer and David Jones

    4. Green and Blacks Chocolate from Coles, Woolworths and other stores
