All classrooms at the school have worked on MusicA great project to show our Erasmus+ partners how we can

teach through Music or how we just teach Music.

The school library team

Always when we start a new project the school library team look for those titles that can be useful for the project. In this case all books that there are in the school library about famous musicians or about Music.

Pre – Primary3, 4 and 5 years old

Music is very useful in these levels at school. Teachers take advantage of many titles, nursery rhymes even songs they make up for the lesson the children are learning.

They make also gestures with the song and children learn the song at the same time they are dancing or doing something with their hands, feet...

The students are learning about the changes of the autumn, the clothes they wear, the nuts they eat...

4 years old classroom Project “Medieval times”

Singing and dancing with a minstrel “Giants”If you are working on a project it is very useful take

advantage of every tool you have around you. A dad from the classroom is a musician and he played as a minstrel for the children. He taught a song called “Giants”

Primary 1st , 2nd and 3rd grades6, 7 and 8 years old

These three classrooms have been working on how to write a biography both in English and Spanish.

So the teachers have chosen the Spanish musician Isaac Albéniz, called the Spanish Chopin.

They have read the biography in a book called “The young Albéniz” and they have enjoyed learning about Albéniz with the Spanish puppets: Los Lunnis. They teach the young children about many things. You can see them on the public TV chanel “Clan TV” The children have also learning the song about Isaac Albéniz with Los Lunnis
