PerformanceSingers - Daft Punk Medley (Choose one or more parts that suit your voice).

Horn Players - Daft Punk Medley. Mixtape.

Dhol Players - Mixtape.

Music Producers & Other - Prepare a performance on your chosen instrument (maybe your GCSE performance piece or your grade piece if you take graded exams).

Please note: Instrumental/vocal practice is VERY important for A Level music. Many a level musicians will be practising for an hour a day and some much more than that. You should be practising for at least 4 hours a week and be excited to attend additional clubs and rehearsals on top of that. Music producers will need to put a similar amount of time into their production pieces. Do not fall behind on this over summer. Make sure you are practising hard. Contact [email protected] and ask for Mr Coughlin for more details on this.

CompositionPrepare a piece of music that you have created from scratch for your instrument or voice. Drummers can create entirely rhythmic piece. You may wish to create a piece of music using GarageBand or BandLab instead.
