ORGANIZATIONAL PROFILE

The project is based on municipality system forSawantwadi Municipality, Sawantwadi. The project has being easily designed for maintaining the house tax waterconnections, construction, and complaints of peoples. Theproject handles the taxes, rents, water connections and otherdetails. The project is more convenient than maintaining the

long register & files.

Sawantwadi Municipality was established on 1st

September 1983.

According to citizens, there are some duties of

them for corporation, like street lights, water, health areprovided to the citizens. For that, Municipality should collectthe money in the form of different taxes. Now a day·smunicipality, Maharashtra, nagar panchayat and industrialcities has collected this type of taxes. This collected taxesgrouped together are known as house taxes.

EXISTING SYSTEMS

The existing systems of MUNICIPALITY SYSTEMare manual.

As the existing system is manual, all manual limitationaffect the working of functionality. Heavy overload of manual work creates complexity in maintaining record.

Maintaining more no. of registers is a tedious job

 which makes systems very bulky.

It is Difficult to search any admission details, enquiry details of record of any students with in a no. of records which is a time consuming job.

Chances of human errors while entering the data .

Chances of increasing data redundancy.

Data may go in consistent state.

Existing manual system cannot provide reports whendemanded by any authority within a short period of time.

NEEDS FOR COMPUTERIZATION

Today·s world is of information technology so; ithas become extremely necessary to keep everything in touch  with the computers with advancement in science andtechnology, the new working phenomenon has being arisen. In our country, mostly in the city areas various purpose thateverything is computerized to save our time and efforts. Italso saves our paper work.

In this which has huge representation, but it doesn·thave computerization facility. Hence all the work related to itis done manually i.e. through storing information in register, files and written records. It is very tedious job to keep all therecords and other related transaction through registers. Itconsumes a lot of time and man hours for storing, accessing and maintaining. The computerization will overcome this

difficulty and provide some quick report with help of data-storage and file management.

PROPOSED SYSTEM

It is fully centralized computer based ´Municipality Systemµ. It is developed to overcome problems mentioned.Considering the requirements of the managements and theoperated, we have tried to develop easy to use software.

In manually processing redundancy of data iseliminated to a considerable extent. Previously records &information & was searched manually, which was a time

consuming process, but because of the search facility therequested records are immediately searched and displayed.

This proposed system provides a great deal of power for storing reports, and are available to themanagement when ever required. Validating facility isprovided which restrict the user from entering the incorrect

data. Managing the procedures on computers and automaticcalculations is comparatively convenient then manualprocessing. It keeps tracks of all activities. This proposedsystem reduced over all cumbersome tasks.

FEASIBILITY STUDY

The feasibility study proposes one or moreconceptual solution to the problems set for project. Theconceptual solution an idea of how system looks like. Thefollowing the things must be done as establish feasibility:

Technical Feasibility :-  Technical feasibility study determines whether the

organization has the technology and the skills necessary to

carry out project. If not then it determines how they shouldbe obtained. In this proposed system. The existing technology satisfies the need for the system that is available. Therefore the system is feasible.

Operational Feasibility:-Operational feasibility study determines if proposed

system satisfies the user·s objectives and can be fitted intocurrent system operation. Our proposed system will certainly satisfy the user·s objectives and will enhance their capability.  The proposed system can be best instead of current systemoperations. Therefore the system is operationally feasible.

FACT FINDING TECHNIQUES

While designing any system preliminary investigationpart is any important and an essential one. Preliminary investigation part is the base in the system. System wholebuilding of the system is dependent on preliminary investigation which has the following three techniques :

1] Interviewing

2] Record review

3] Questionnaire

After the three techniques are occurred successfully, the points regarding the system during the investigationstudied very well. These techniques proven to be beneficial

regarding preliminary investigation. These three techniquesused in developing the system are called as ´Fact finding techniquesµ.

1] Interviewing:-

The whole system investigation part is carried out by making interview of the concerned people such as in charge, employees and staff related to the organizations. Manualprocess of each work is asked by hints regarding the work, by asking their suggestion and taking their produce regarding therequirement of the valuable system. After taking theirinterview regarding the noted points are studied very well.

This interview technique proves to be beneficial regarding thepreliminary investigation.

2] Record review :

The record review techniques prove useful in finding thefacts of the system. In this technique, all manually preparedfiles, document its registers are observed properly.Observation of such records is useful in preparing thedatabase files, reports and also useful in designing the screendifferent fact of the system.

3] Questionnaire:

This technique is useful for to collect all the informationabout various aspects of the system from different persons.  This methods standardized question format yield morereliable data then the rather facts finding techniques. The wide distribution ensure greater for despondences which canlead honest response.

 TESTING PROCEDURE&

IMPLEMENTATION PROCEDURE

A major activity in acquiring new equipment &software frequently is evaluation of the performance of theproduct. We also use performance evaluation of the product& its techniques with an existing system to improve itsperformance, either through the acquisition of additional

equipment or the reduction in the amount of equipment inuse. Performance is generally defined to be the response timeof a system or the volume of input it can process in givenperiod of time.

Analytic modeling involves a mathematicalapproach to performance evaluation & is best suited fordesign calculations such as queering analysis of an online

system. Usually, analytical approaches do not model software& therefore, do not have wide applicability to the averagecomputer installation.

Simulation has been used extensively to evaluatethe performance of the computer systems. Various types of simulations are available to user can write their own using a

special purpose simulation language.

Benchmarks represents a sample of an existing  workload & do include software consideration. Any aspect of the system can be evaluated from an either computer systemto a file management package. Strictly speaking benchmark is

an existing job that has been recorded if necessary for thesystem being evaluated.

Monitoring is a type of performance evaluationtechnique different from the rest. It is primarily orientedtowards evaluating existing form of hardware & software.  The technique of monitoring are often used to tune orimprove the performance of an existing system.

Two types of monitors in use but distinctbetween them is blurring because they have been combined

to produce a hybrid or integrated monitors.

Hardware monitors contain a set of probes thatare attached to the component being monitored at criticalpoints. The device collects the data on the elapsed time or oncounts of some values.

A software monitor is a program that isembedded within or interfaced in some way with operating system. It is called as high priority task every so often tocollect statistics on machine status. Thus statistics aregenerally analyzed after the end of monitoring period.

The testing procedure & implementation perhapsinclude the monitoring process of the software developed.

This phase consider a set of rough data, which is some thatrelated to the actual data. These data are entered into thesystem & the process & reports of the system are monitored.  All the changes made with the system are according to thenecessity of the user. These processes continue till the user isfully satisfied. The data are again tested & the reports are

compared with the original ones that the system shouldproduce. The testing is then done with some original data forguarantee of the output before it is implemented.

Keeping the user·s needs the Municipality System isdeveloped. Hope that you are satisfied with our work and getas much pleasure out of it as. The user will find no difficulty in handling this system. But if so, then for their purpose thefollowing things are provided at every stage so that they canhandle it easily. They are as follows:

On every stage the user can find:

1. Error massage.2. Validation massage.

We have developed this software as regards to thesecurity and user flexibility.

CONCLUSION

The contribution of computers in our daily life, almost in every respective fields of life as emerged rapidly since from the time it has been invented. Computers play   very important role of easing out the complications of themajor aspect into a minor one.

This project of mine deals with management system

in computerized manner. The aim of this system was toreduce than manual work and the errors generated in it. Inthe today·s computer area, the automation of the work of themanagement system helps to increase the speed of operation. Also the overall performance of the system and accuracy isincreased.

The tests carried out on this project reported thatthe software is totally bugged free. I feel that this epicendeavor that we stepped into results in a system thatperforms all the functions that it is expected to do.

Computer results achieve the proper check of datamaintaining consistency, proper validation checks and alsochecked the specific data entry points.

When any system is being implemented the user·ssatisfaction gets first preference. The Users satisfaction.
