The Team

The TeamRamanand Mundkur (managing partner) has a masterʼs degree from Harvard Law School and is a graduate of Indiaʼs National Law School. He is qualified to practice in both India and New York and has over sixteen years of international work experience, having previously worked with the International Monetary Fund, the United Nations and Arthur Andersen.

Divya Balagopal (senior partner) holds a masterʼs degree from the Graduate Institute in Geneva and is also a graduate of Indiaʼs National Law School. She has previously worked with a litigation firm in Boston, and the UN Childrenʼs Fund in Geneva, and has practiced before various Indian courts.

The TeamThe Team (contd.)Amritha Salian (senior associate) is a graduate of the University Law College in Bangalore and has over four years of corporate and transactional experience. At MLP, her primary practice areas cover commercial contracts, corporate law, franchising, intellectual property, trademarks, and real estate.

Kriti Tannan (associate) holds a masterʼs degree in business law from Indiaʼs National Law School and is a graduate of the University Law College in Bangalore. She started her law career at MLP, where her primary practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, life sciences, technology collaborations, licensing, labour and employment, and regulatory compliance.

Dibyojyoti Sarkar (associate) is a graduate of the Gujarat National Law University. At MLP, his primary practice areas cover commercial contracts, foreign exchange, foreign investment, joint ventures, securities regulation, and venture capital.

He joined MLP in 2011 after spending approximately two years working in the Supreme Court in India and in the High Court of Rajasthan.
