Vorwort

Die Anforderungen an die Übertragung von digitalen Signalen wachsen ständig und sindgrenzenlos. Mit der Abschaltung der analogen Übertragung von Fernsehsignalen über Satellit zum 30. April 2012 wurde dem wachsenden Bedarf an mehr Frequenzbreite = Übertragungskapazitätbereits Rechnung getragen, da die Übertragung digitaler Signale trotz größerer Datenmengenwesentlich schneller vonstattengeht. Mehr und mehr Haushalte wurden spätestens da mit digitalen Set-Top-Boxen ausgestattet, die die digitalen Signale wieder für den Anwender „sichtbar“ machen.

Dazu müssen auch in der Video-Technik immer größere Datenmengen produziert und übertragen werden, die speziell konzipierte Video-Kabel erfordern. Sie sind i. d. R.enger toleriert und müssen das Zusammenspiel von Kameras, Monitoren, MAZ undRegiepults/Mischer etc. garantieren - ohne Einbußen in der Qualität und absolut störungsfrei.

Waren für die analoge Übertragung 1fachabgeschirmte Koaxialkabel mit PE-Isolationausreichend, verwendet man heute zunehmend hoch abgeschirmte (2 bzw. 3fach) Koaxialka-bel mit Zell-PE-Isolation, die bei vergleichbarenkonstruktiven Parametern rund „30 % verlustfreier“ übertragen. Grundsätzlich gilt: je höher die Schirmdämpfung, desto größer ist dieStörfestigkeit eines Kabels , da durch denzunehmenden Einsatz von mobilen Endgeräten(Smartphones, Tabletts, Notebooks etc.) das Störungspotential stetig wächst.

Speziell ausgewählte Materialien sind nicht nur für die elektrischen Eigenschaften notwendig, sie beeinflussen u. a. auch Brandschutzeigenschaften. Durch die Verwendung von Zell-PE zur Isolierung sowie dem Einsatz von entsprechenden Mantelmaterialien wird die Brandlast erheblich reduziert.

Alle Kabel werden nach nationalen und internationalen Normen (DIN, ISO, EN) gefertigt und übertreffendie Anforderungen i. d. R. bei weitem und bieten somit hohe Leistungsreserven für dieÜbertragung analoger und digitaler Signale (4k, HD-TV, SD-TV, Y/C, RGB, FBAS usw.).

Bei der Entwicklung dieser Kabel wurden selbstverständlich auch konstruktive Parameter aus der Verbindungstechnik berücksichtigt.

VerwendungKoaxial-Kabel eignen sich zur dämpfungsarmen und verzerrungsfreien Übertragung von Signalen hoher Bandbreite. Die RG-Typen sind aufgrund ihrer verschiedenen elektrischen, mechanischen und thermischen Aufgabenstellung insbesondere in der HF-Technik bis in den GHz-Bereich geeignet. Als Grundnorm für RG Koaxialkabel gilt die amerikanische Militärvorschrift MiL-C-17, die heute auf dem gesamten Gebiet der HF-Technik wegen der international anerkannten gleichmäßig hohen Qualität angewendet wird.
