Activity: MULTILAC® Baby is the latest generation synbiotic, containing as many as 9 bacterial strains and a nutri-tive ingredient – fructooligosaccharides (FOS). The product utlilizes an innovative technology of microencapsu-lation Micro MURE®, involving coating of bacteria with two protective layers: protein and polysaccharide-hydrocolloid. Double protection protects beneficial bacteria against destructive activity of gastric juice and digestive enzymes, prolonging their survival. On the other hand fructooligosaccharides (FOS) are an energy source for bacteria included in the product, facilitating their rapid growth in the gastrointestinal tract. MULTILAC® Baby does not contain milk or casein and thus is safe e.g. for patient allergic to these products.MULTILAC® Baby is intended for the dietary management of infants aged 4 months and older and children, particularly with: antibiotic therapy, functional bowel disorders (e.g. constipation and diarrhea of various etiol-ogy) and in the periods of increased susceptibility to infection.Portion of the product recommended for consumption during the day: Children aged 4 months and older: 1 stick daily. For infants the sachet contents should be mixed with water or milk. For children aged 2 years and older - MULTILAC® Baby can be given directly or the sachet contents can be mixed with water, milk or yoghurt. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.Important information: Dietary food for special medical purposes. The product should be taken under medical supervision. The product is intended for infants and children.
