Q: How does an SME customer apply for these services?
A: The customer must navigate to www.mtnbusiness.co.za/sme and register online. They will receive a confirmation email with activation instructions for the various services.Note: Each individual service must be self activated by the customer with the relevant supplier.
Q: Who is eligible for MTN SME ProPack?
A: Only postpaid customers are eligible for MTN SME ProPack. This means that the customer must have at least one voice or data contract in the name of their business and be vetted as a small business.
Q: How can I assist the customer?A: Please check on your system whether the customer is loaded as an SME. If they are they must proceed to apply online @ www.mtnbusiness.co.za/sme for their activation codes. If they need help with a particular service after they have registered please provide the customer with the relevant escalation path. Alternatively please call our 809 call centre for assistance.

MTN BizAssist is an exclusive range of business-focused services that are designed to help small businesses increase their customer reach and reduce operating costs and business expenditure.

In order to apply for MTN BizAssist, the customer must do the following:
• Dial 083 123 6655 from his/her MTN mobile phone. • When asked for a membership number, the customer must provide
the operator with his/her MTN mobile number. • The customer will be asked for additional contact details and
verified as an MTN SME customer. • After secondary confirmation, the customer will be provided with a
username and password with which to register on www.mtnbizassist.co.za

Business Networking Platform
The Business Networking Platform allows MTN’s SME customers to interact and network with big corporates through the BizNetworking Portal. Here they can tender for new business, post adverts and increase their visibility in the market.
All that the customer needs to do is load their profile onto the BizNetworking Platform which is accessible from www.mtnbizassist.co.za. This means that they must be registered with BizAssist first.

Business Networking Platform
The benefits of the Business Networking Platform are:
• The service can be accessed through the BizAssist website. • Customers can load their customer profiles and interact with big
corporates and government. • Companies can post adverts for contracts, suppliers and tenders
and those on the platform can apply for these opportunities via notifications.
• Suppliers get rated on their successful completion of a job.

Business Networking Platform
In order to utilise the Business Networking Platform the customer must first activate BizAssist. The Business Networking Platform can then be accessed through the BizAssist website.
If the customer is not registered for BizAssist, s/he should follow these steps:
• Dial 083 123 6655 from his/her MTN mobile phone. • When asked for a membership number, the customer must provide the operator
with his/her MTN mobile number. • The customer will be asked for additional contact details and verified as an MTN
SME customer. • After secondary confirmation, the customer will be provided with a username
and password with which to register on www.mtnbizassist.co.za • Once the customer has logged into the BizAssist website s/he must navigate to
the BizNetworking tab to start networking.
If the customer is registered for BizAssist, s/he should navigate to the BizNetworking tab to start networking.

Fax2Email
MTN Fax2Email is a free service that allows customers to send and receive fax messages using their email account. This means that if they have a mobile phone or mobile device that supports email they will be able to send and receive faxes no matter where they are.
Each registered user will receive a unique MTN Fax2Email number that can be used as a fax number. Each fax message sent to this number is automatically converted to a .PDF or .TIFF attachment. Customers will then be able to view fax messages as they would any other email. In addition, this allows fax messages to be easily forwarded and archived. This service is dependent on customers having an email address and internet access.

Fax2Email
The benefits of Fax2Email are as follows:
• Multiple faxes can be received at once. • The customer can receive faxes (not send), wherever s/he is. • There is no limit on incoming faxes. • Improved security as these faxes cannot be intercepted. • Faxes are delivered as soon as the device is connected or switched
on.• Unlimited unique fax numbers for all staff members.

Fax2Email
In order to apply for a Fax2Email number, the customer must send an email to [email protected] listing all employees s/he would like to have access to MTN Fax2Email.
The email must include the following details: • Company name. • Contact person and his/her details. • List of desired users.
- User’s name.- User’s surname.- User’s email address.- User’s contact number.
Once the SME has been verified as an MTN Business customer, his/her Fax2Email membership will be activated. Each user will then receive a confirmation email containing his/her unique MTN Fax2Email number.

To register with MTN BizAssist, the customer must follow these steps:
• Visit www.nsbc.org.za • Click the JOIN NOW tab. • Complete the on-line registration form. • Where it asks “How did you hear about the NSBC?”, insert “MTN –
2012”.• Submit the completed form. Once the SME has been verified as an MTN Business customer, their membership will be activated and the customer will receive an email confirmation from the NSBC.

MTN 1-4-1 is a point-based loyalty programme that rewards active MTN customers when they use their phone. Customers can register for the MTN 1-4-1 service in one of two ways: • 141 USSD (*141*9#). • Web interface via www.mtn.co.za Upon registration, customers are required to provide his/her South African ID number. Should the customer not be a South African citizen, an international passport number can be used to register; however the customer must:
• Fax or email a copy of his/her passport to the Call Centre Agent.• Indicate the mobile number to which the passport number must be
linked for registration.

In order to register on MTN Active the customer will need to do the following:
• Navigate to https://active.mtn.co.za/mtnsc/• Enter his/her mobile number into the Cellphone number field and
click Submit. • The customer will then receive a temporary password via sms.• Enter the temporary password into the Password field and click
Submit. • The customer will be asked to reset his/her password according to
their preference. • Once the new password is confirmed the customer will have access
to their account on MTN Active.

To make use of the MTN iMail the customer must do the following:
• Login to www.mtn.co.za • Navigate to the MTN services tab and select Messaging. • Select the iMail option from the Messaging menu. • To register the customer must enter his/her mobile number and click
