Good knowlegge of embedded coding, processor architecture and operating systems. Highly mo- tivated and problem solver with an ability to adapt to new situations. A quick learner with a desire for continuous personal growth. Internship work includes : • Analysis of ARM and x86 processor based platforms in terms of different performance metrics • Knowledge of python based automation framework • Validation and verification of Smart phones and Tablets from different vendors Internship Experience 07/14 - Now Intern in Device Benchmarking Team ARM Embedded Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Project 1: "Micro-architectural classification of contemporary use cases for ARM A class cores". Duration : 6 Months Description : In this work, analysing the effect of real world mobile usecases on smartphone is carried out.For this study, usecases which are right mix of games, browsing and multimedia applications are taken. In this study, classification of different usecases based on their behaviour at processor microarchitecture level is performed. To conduct this study, different devel- opment boards were used which contain low and medium end processor. This study also showed the microarchitecture requirement of the usecases in terms of program, control flow and memory behaviour. Key Features : ARM Cortex-A Series Processors, DS-5 Streamline tool, Use-Case Project 2: "Analyzing of Heterogeneous Architecture". Duration : 6 Months Description : Main objective is to study heterogeneous architecture and find some common factors related to them which can improve power and performance of use cases. Some of the key factors are frequency, sampling time, voltage, etc. Another work is to automate various workloads and use cases and using that try to measure various parameters like frequency behavior, threading behavior. After analyzing this data, try to figure out which changes can improve future architecture. Key Features : Tunable Study, power and performance measurements Publication May 2015 Paper Presentation : Architectural Design Needs of a Real day on An- droid:Not for Geekbench Users ARM Internal Confernce-GEC 2015 ARM Embedded Technologies Pvt. Ltd Description: This Paper describes about micro-architectural performance of dynamic use cases on android smart phones and how they are differ from static bench marks. This paper covers analysis of several use cases includes web browsing, social networking, games, video and audio play back apps.
