6.0 Responsibilities:

6.1 Project Manager is responsible of planning and programming the project

tasks and objectives; determining the organizational structures of the project

team, its roles and positions; setting team directions, coordinating activities

across different organizational functions, assigning works; defining project

 baseline, tracking progress and reporting; implementing quality and safety as

per project requirements.

6.2 Construction Manageris responsible for overall execution of this work;

CM shall coordinate with surveyor, Project Engineer and Site Engineer to

ensure that the necessary resources and equipments are provided to

implement the works in an acceptable manner as per the approved

documents, MS and ITPs and also to ensure all construction staffs comply

 with Company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Management

System requirements. He shall ensure that all works are executed as per

approved IFC drawings. He shall involve in tool box talks given by the QC

Engineer for the site staff prior to start works at site. He is also responsible

for indenting and using only the approved materials for construction purpose

and shall also inform the QC engineer at site prior to commencement of any

new activities at site.

6.3 Project Engineeris responsible for the execution of the activity in

accordance with the Project Specifications, approved quality control

procedures, MS and HSE plan. He is also responsible for raising internal IR to

QC engineer at site for day to day activities. He is also responsible for

attending all the required inspections along with the Engineer’s representative

for approvals. He is also responsible for ensuring that works are not rejected

at site.

6.4 QA/QC Engineerat site is responsible for ensuring all the activities are

carried out as per project specification and approved quality control

procedures, and is also responsible for providing toolbox talks to the

execution team. He is also responsible for raising IR for all the related day to

day activities at site as per the approved ITP. He is also responsible for

attending all the required day to day inspection along with the Engineer’s

representative and project engineers for approvals.

6.5 Site Engineer, Supervisors & Foreman is responsible for ensuring that

the workforce is well aware of the quality control procedures and safety rules

and also responsible for executing the works as per approved IFC drawings.

6.6 HSEEngineer is responsible for ensuring the activities are carried out as

per Project Specific Safety Rules and Regulations and all the works shall beexecuted as per approved HSE plan.

6.7 Surveyor is responsible for checking the levels of each and every

structure and shall comply with approved IFC drawings and also responsible

for internal coordination and to Site execution team about day to day survey

activities.

7.0 Method of Execution:

7.1 Surface Preparation:

Remove damaged water proofing membrane.• Remove dust, dirt and other contaminants. Surface be rough for better

adhesion.

• Make the Surface Hot with Gas Torch so that Bituminous Membrane sticks

on parent surface. Apply uniform pressure to make sure adhesion is

perfect. .

• IR has to be raised and approved by the Engineer prior to proceed with

the application.

• Refer to Inspection and Test Plan for Hold Points

7.2 Protection:

 Application protection layer as per specification for better durability

8.0 Miscellaneous:

8.1 Cleaning:

• Area will be made clean and all the waste material will be removed with the

help of brush or scrapper. Empty bags will be disposed properly to the

designed areas

9.0 Health & Safety Provision:

• The prescribe PPE should be provide to all workers and Site staff.

• Proper housekeeping should be done.

• Work area shall be cleared from all the debris, and excess materials.

During night time sufficient lighting arrangement should be done on site.

• Gloves, masks and safety glasses will be provided only for the spray

team.

• Safety shoes, helmets, coverall and safety jackets will be provided to

all laborers and staff.
