Accountants are not only important to the community, but also to the nation. They help to keep people aware of their financial situation.

Some accountants are self-employed like Mrs. Wade, but others work for firms.

They work a minimum of 40 hours a week, she usually works 50-60 hours a week.

Must have at least a bachelor’s degree, but Mrs. Wade recommends that a person get at least a master’s degree.

Must have a good knowledge of computers and try to get summer or part time jobs in accounting related fields.

Monte James Lives in my neighborhood Mr. James taught me that cooking is not

work, it is art. If cooking is not your passion then it should not be my career choice.

Becoming a chef requires many years of training-many go and some go to the specialty or culinary schools to 2 to 4 year colleges and major in hospitality or culinary arts

A person wanting to have this career must be able to be fair to all people and remember the laws and rules that we must all follow.

What I Learned

The careers I want to have require a college education

Must be passionate and dedicated to whatever I choose in order to be successful

It is important to talk to people about their careers to get better information.
