Dear Parents,

Thank you to all the parents who took the me out of their busy schedules to aend theparent coee presentaon on “How to Make the Most of Your Child’s ReportCard.” This workshop was very well aended and we hope you found it useful! Wetrust all parents have now discussed the report card at home and have enjoyed gaininga deeper insight into your child’s/children’s progress to date. If you have any quesonsabout the report card, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher.

The G5 and G6 school photos were given to students on Wednesday, January 20th dur-ing Advisory. The G7 and G8 photos will be distributed on Monday, January 25th.

MS Courtyard Event: On Friday, January 29th from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m. we will be hosng a MS CourtyardEvent. This is for all MS students and is aimed at providing an opportunity for studentsto connect with each other outside of the school day. There will be a Carnival theme,with student service groups providing games and refreshment opons. Parents aremore than welcome to drop by if they would like to join in the fun!

The ming of this event has been designed to provide a transion between the end ofthe school day and the start of the MS Play. This way parents and students have some-thing fun to do while waing for the MS Play to start. It also helps families avoid havingto navigate the Manila trac!

Classroom Without Walls (CWW):

Over the next few weeks the various CWW leers/permission slips will be making their way home. With over 20 dier-

ent opons available across the MS, these leers will be disseminated by grade level teams. If you have more than one

child in MS, please be advised that the permission slips will not all come home on the same day. As you receive these

leers, please read the informaon carefully before signing and returning the forms to school. If you have any ques-

ons, please contact the site leader, grade level program leader or the MS Oce.

S2 concludes next week with our IASAS teams o to the IASAS

Championships. Good luck to all teams and coaches as they

strive to represent ISM and bring home some medals. Keep in

touch with the Bearcats progress via www.iasas.asia for all live

stream and up to date results from host venues.

If you have not heard ISM is now hosng Rugby/Touch next

week due to the bombing in Jakarta last week. Thanks to all our

community who have stepped up at short noce to house the

140 athletes that will arrive next Wednesday.

It should be a great tournament so come on out and watch the

acon.

Season 3 (S3) tryouts will begin rst week of Feb, announce-

ments are now posted on noce boards and on ATAC blog

schedules page for tryouts and the season pracce schedules.

ATAC S3 sports for MS are Badminton, Track&Field, Mixed

Touch and Co-ed Soball. For HS S3 sports are Golf,

Track&Field, Soball and Badminton.

Congratulaons to our VGirls Touch and VBoys Rugby teams

who both won their local league compeons last weekend. A

great eort all season from players and coaches.

This year’s PCA INTERNATIONAL NIGHT will

be held on Friday, March 18th at 6pm. The

evening will begin with a 60-minute SHOW-

CASE of music and dance from our diverse

ISM community. Following the show, guests

will be invited to our INTERNATIONAL BUF-

FET to sample cuisine from all around the

world. Tickets prices are P500.00 per person

(inclusive of buet).
