Every fall, Zeta Tau Alpha presents the “Mr. Zeta Pageant,” involving male contestants from the fraternities at SU. The men compete in good fun putting on performances, showcasing talents and overall showing their support for breast cancer awareness and Greek Life. Fall 2013’s show was located in Holloway Hall this year. Tickets were $5 for the SU community and all proceeds went to the Susan G. Komen Foundation…

ZTA Set up outside of the HH auditorium. The Mr. Zeta Pageant began at 7: 30 p.m.

The brothers of Sigma Pi, Sigma Tau Gamma, Kappa Sigma, Pi Lambda Phi, Alpha Sigma Phi and Sigma Phi Epsilon were involved as male contestants. For the talent showcase, there was a variety of performances: singing, dancing, joke-telling, impressions, and more….

Sigma Pi member plays the trombone for his talent with the help of his two assistants. There was dancing and comedy for the crowd in his performance.

One contestant danced with his fraternity brothers with his shirt on … and off.

He left the stage feeling proud of himself. “I think I did a good job of keeping the crowd’s attention,” Brent Galloway said, an SU senior.

It was hysterical, the crowd loved it. The sisters of ZTA showed their appreciation for comedy. (Left photo) Taylor Linker, who was the host for the event, laughs at the Grinch impression.

“It didn’t matter who won, it was all for a good cause,” Giovenco said. The contestants were supportive of one another.

The crowd gives a standing ovation at the end. “We raised almost $1,700,” Linker said. The event met the ZTA goal for fundraising.
