Once upon a time…

Ladies of theta, in a land far away Decided to battle a harsh beast one day. They looked at the world so filled with despair, Wishing to put faith, hope, and love in the air. The Theta foundation made CASA their friend, To help bring this awful neglect to an end. But one day in Bartlett, Andrea’s fate changed When a poisonous apple left her deranged. Now Dre has trapped CASA inside a far castle, The spell she is under has proved quite a hassle. Despite these princes being high in demand. A knight in shining armor is what is in need, And Princes have come to fulfill the good deed. Although this debacle seems quite alarming, One good sir will become Theta’s prince charming. The Theta Fairytale

The concept of dreams is not new to fairytales – and once upon a time, in a land not far away, a woman named Elizabeth McReynolds Locke Hamilton dreamt from her tower – of creating a society with opportunities for companionship far greater than had been fathomed previously for women. Elizabeth Locke, also known as Betty, with three of her closest friends – sought to create an organization for women that would provide the encouragement and support requisite to promote women’s education and entrance into coeducational colleges. In 1867, Kappa Alpha Theta was founded, as the first Greek Letter Fraternity known among women. Since then, Kappa Alpha Theta has grown to over 170 collegiate chapters and over 190 alumnae chapters; and continues to grow – still inspiring, embracing, and encouraging women today.

Kappa Alpha Theta, Epsilon Phi This past summer, Epsilon Phi was presented with the Philanthropy Award at National Convention. Having raised over $12,000 dollars last year for CASA – it is our goal to push the limits, and raise even more this year.

What is CASA? CASA, or Court Appointed Special Advocates, is a nonprofit organization that fulfills one of society’s most fundamental obligations, by protecting the right to safety and security of our nations children who are abused, neglected, and misrepresented in the court of law. CASA Volunteers are extraordinary individuals who embody the role of a stable adult figure in the lives of troubled children – serving as advocates both in a court of law, and their life.

Sir Aaron Ackerman humbly represents Sigma Phi Epsilon in the contest for prince charming, hoping to share with the rest of the land the companionship that defines Sig Ep. He believes he should be your next Prince Charming because of his ability To woo the beautiful women in the all the lands with his piano playing.His personal philosophies resonate in most Taylor Swift songs, and tonight, he attempts to help the lands live happily ever after.

Sir Adam Shamlian of Psi U Sir Andrew Angeles of Phi Delt

Sir Andrew Angeles of Phi Delta Theta, humbly represents Phi Delt in the contest for Prince Charming, hoping to share the awesomeness that defines Phi Delt with the rest of the land. He believes that he should be your prince charming because of his love of Disney movies, and looks forward to distributing happiness to the land. His personal philosophy is "Stay thirsty my friends" and tonight, he attempts to help the lands live happily ever after.

Sir Adam Shamlian of Psi Upsilon, humbly represents Psi U in the contest for prince charming, hoping to share with the rest of the land the chivalry that defines Psi. He believes that he should be your prince charming because King Joffrey is a stuck-up brat, and looks forward to instituting obscene royal taxes across the land. His personal philosophy is "Fish are friends, not food," and tonight, he attempts to help the lands live happily every after.

Sir Mike Casey of AOPi Sir Chris Williams of Alpha Delt

Sir Mike Casey humbly represents the ladies of AOPi in the contest for Prince Charming, hoping to share the Alpha Love that defines AOPi with the rest of the land. He believes that he should be your prince charming because of his unrelenting chivalry, and looks forward to serving the land. His personal philosophy is “try not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value” and tonight, he attempts to help the lands live happily ever after.

Sir Chris Williams humbly represents Alpha Delta Phi in the contest for Prince Charming, hoping to spread the kindness that defines the Alpha Delts with the rest of the land. He believes that he should be your prince charming because of his desire to truly help, honor, and share happiness, and he looks forward to serving the land. Sir Jason Wang of Lambda Sir Ben Jacobson of AEPi

Sir Jason Wang humbly represents Lambda Phi Epsilon in the contest for Prince Charming, hoping to share the brotherhood that defines Lambdas with the rest of the land. He believes that he should be your prince charming because like the sunlight that melts away the snow, tonight he will melt your hearts away. Furthermore, Sir Lambda looks forward to making sure all the abused and neglected children in his land are rescued and placed in a healthy and safe environment. His personal philosophy is: never leave a sir or a lady behind, and tonight, he attempts to help the lands live happily ever after.

Sir Ben Jacobson humbly represents Alpha Epsilon Pi in the contest for Prince Charming, hoping to share the strength and unity which defines AEPi with the rest of the land. He believes that he should be your prince charming not only because he will always be willing to share a meal with ye fair ladies, but also because of his passion to help the world, and he looks forward to serving as a lieutenant in the marine corps next year: first hoping to help children that CASA works with. His personal philosophy is “sweat dries, blood clots, and bones heal… suck it up!”; and tonight, he hopes to take his strength and resilience to help the lands live happily ever after.

Sir Dennis Wiater of Sig Chi Sir Cameron Okeke of Phinix

Sir Dennis Wiater of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, humbly represents Sigma Chi in the contest for Prince Charming, hoping to share the chivalrous ideals that define Sigma Chi with the rest of the land. He believes that he should be your prince charming because he is the fairest gentleman in the competition being a Sigma Chi, and looks forward to serving as a role model for these ideals throughout the land. His personal philosophy is "work hard, play hard" , and tonight, he attempts to help the lands live happily ever after.

Sir Cameron Okeke of Phinix Dance Crew, humbly represents Phinix in the contest of Prince Chraming, hoping to share the creative community that defines Phinix with the rest of the land. He believes that he should be your prince charming because his moves can unbreak hearts, and looks forward to bringing dance and hope to desolate Uchicago land. His personal philosophy is live for the challenge and die for the dream, and tonight, he fights for the lands to live happily ever after.
