Dear Parents/Carers
Sports Day 2018
Despite the intermittent rain, there was a good Vesey spirit at Wednesday's Sports Day. Thank you to Mr Doughty and the vast team of staff and student leaders, who managed an excellent event. Gold House triumphed overall and a big well done to Lauren Butler, who smashed the 200m Girls record by four seconds with an outstanding time of 25.53. Wow! Thank you to Dr Reilly for excellent use of the school camera in taking the wonderful photos below:
Chris Bradford Skype
On Monday 23 April the Library hosted a Skype call from the author Chris Bradford, who was originally booked to come into school earlier in the year, but had to cancel due to the snowy weather. He chatted about his books and his method writing and also showed students his Samurai sword. Chris has been booked to come into school in July 2020.
