Early February Parents and Students meet to create a four year “road map” for required courses
Spring semester teachers will make recommendations for registration based on class grades

Khan Academy – set up Account
Most competitive colleges look at a student’s curriculum in high school – relevant to their ability and the courses offered by the school
Honors and Advanced Placement level courses place more emphasis on Critical Reading….which is measured in standardized testing such as the SAT
Reach for the maximum level of coursework that is APPROPRIATE (based on teacher recommendation, student ability and student motivation)
Colleges ALWAYS favor higher level courses

When you are absent, bring a note in the next day. Be sure and put your Advisement Section # on it.
If you will need to leave early, YOU MUST BRING A NOTE TO ATTENDANCE OFFICE BEFORE SCHOOL. Be sure and put Advisement Section # and a parent phone #. Parents are called on all early dismissal notes for confirmation.
Time out of class due to ISS or OSS makes it very difficult to do well in school….
Be respectful to school property (computers). If you damage them you will be charged with vandalism
Drugs, Alcohol, Theft and derogatory statements will not be tolerated.
