Alex Carnevale graduated from the University of Virginia (USA) in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. In 1995, he also obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Richmond (USA). Mr. Alexander J. Carnevale Alex started his professional career in 1988 as Process/ Project Engineer at AlliedSignal, a global aerospace, automotive and engineering company headquartered in the USA. He held a variety of functions involving leading and management responsibilities, culminating with the role of Production Manager in France. In 1998, after AlliedSignal merged with multinational automation technology expert Honeywell, Alex became Plant Manager in the United States. Three years later, he was promoted to General Manager Europe. In 2004, when the business unit Performance Fibers was sold off to private equity, Alex became its Vice President and Managing Director Europe. In 2009, he became Vice President Global Operations. Over a 25 year career, Alex drove successful results in Engineering, Operations, and P&L leadership roles. In 2014, he established his own consulting business and drove operational improvements for companies in various industries in the US, Europe and China. On 1 January 2016, he took on the role of Chief Performance Officer at Etex becoming also responsible for EHS, Purchasing and Engineering.

Alex started his professional career in 1988 as Process/
