Health and Travel Insurance - All

students must take out health

insurance to cover any medical

treatment in New Zealand. We can

arrange this insurance at a very

reasonable rate. We also recommend

you obtain travel insurance as well.

Immigration - Full details of visa and

permit requirements are available from

the New Zealand Immigration Service

website: www.immigration.govt.nz

Our Homestay families are carefully selected to

ensure students have an enjoyable experience.

Families are interviewed twice, checked by New

Zealand Police and their homes are inspected

before becoming a host family. Staying with a

New Zealand family is the perfect way to practice

your English and to make New Zealand friends.

homestay accommodation

We take care to match students with Homestays depending on their interests.

If students want to experience rural life in New Zealand we can arrange a farmstay experience.

Students can stay on a farm for a weekend and have hands on experience of farming life.

Most farms have sheep, cattle and horses.

Many Homestays provide bicycles for students

to bike to school (Mount Maunganui is

very flat so cycling is easy), or students

can use the local bus service. We can

also arrange fully-furnished apartment

accommodation.

Airport Transfer Service - We provide a

shuttle bus transfer service from Auckland International

Airport direct to the Homestay which takes approximately

21/2 hours. If you have arranged a domestic flight to

Tauranga from Auckland our staff can meet you on arrival and assist you to the domestic

terminal. Flights arriving or departing at very late or very early times, or on National Holidays

may require an overnight stay in Auckland, which we can book for you.
