More than a Forge
BRÜCK® stands for the worldwide leading supplier of seamless hot rolled rings, flanges and special forgings. As an independent family-owned company in third generation BRÜCK® has made a name for itself on the international markets.
Innovation as Business Culture
In the meantime the spectrum of a classical forging company has been far excelled. With more than 100 CNC controlled machines, even the tightest machining tolerances of parts up to 250 tons of weight can be reached.
In addition, the finish machined forgings can be mounted to complex assemblies as per customer requirement, tested and delivered turnkey by the BRÜCK® Component Building Division.

Component Building
In the 90‘s – in continuation of the strategy to deliver complex components from one source – BRÜCK® started with the assembly and testing of Offshore Oil & Gas Components.
Meanwhile BRÜCK® has made a name for itself with turnkey constructions of high-pressure rotary
34
components for the worldwide Offshore Oil and Gas Industry. The so-called “Swivel Stacks” permit oil and gas producing vessels (FPSO = Floating Production, Storage and Offloading vessels) to turn and weather-vane in rough wind and weather conditions, being connected at the same time to a high pressure flexible piping system (risers) reaching to the sea ground.

In these applications, different critical factors come together:
Corrosion caused by aggressive media
High pressures
Static/dynamic stresses and strains
Thus, for instance massive duplex material or weld overlay cladded ferritic steels are being used.
Highest requirements to system reliability have to be fulfilled:
For reasons of environmental protection,
For safety reasons and also
Because of economical aspects.
