Collectively improving accessiblility in European cities

An initiative of CAP4Access, a project co-funded by the 7th Framework Programme of the European Union

Wheelmap.org was founded in 2010 by the Berlin based non-profit organization Sozial-helden e.V.

The award-winning project is available in 22 languages and as Android and iOS apps. More than 550,000 locations have already been rated on their wheelchair accessibility and 300 entries are added daily. The data is provided under an open data licence and is free to use (OpenStreetMap).
