TASK 1 - DATA COLLECTIONEVALUATION

Thla taak waa co~leted with the collection of all available alta characterization data prior to the initiation of field atudlea Thla data was incorporated with data collected froa other taaka and used in the evaluation process to formulate the Reaedlel ~nvestlgatlon Report and Feasibility Study

TASK 2 - PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The PRPs project aanageaent structure is illustrated in the Project Operation Plan

TREATAII ITY STUDIES

Solidification Study work la proceeding leaulta of the study will be preaented to the agenclea when they become availablebull

RlFS REPORT

On March 31 the PRPa received an EPA package of 331 coaaenta concerning the aecond draft of the RIFS report aubbullltted on November 23 1988 Also the EPA requeated a detailed evaluation of potential landfill development at the alta The PRPs will respond to this in April

TASK 3 - OIJECTIVESALTERNATIVES DEVELOPMENT

The final developaent of objectivebull and alternatives vas preaented in the Draft FS report A report entitled Prellalnary Indication of ARARs vas preaented to EPA and KDEP in June 1986 On August 13 1987 a revised report which incorporates changes required by the Superfund Amendment and Reauthorization Act vaa subaltted

TASK 4 - COMMUNITY RELATIONS PLAN

There vas no co-unity relations activity in March There h no counlty relationbull activity acheduled for April

No subcontractor procureaent activity occurred in March and none is anticipated for April

TASK 6 - PERMITSAUTHORIZATIONS

No peraitautborization activity occurred in March and none is anticipated for April

TASK 7 - SITE RECONNAISSANCE

Site Reconnaissance activities have been completed Data gathered from this effort vas used in the Tour I and Tour II data presentation This data was also used in the developnt of the Draft Feasibility Study

TASK 8 - TOPOGRAPHIC MAPPING

The one inch - 40 foot and one inch - 100 foot scale Base Hap of the site has been aubbullitted to EPA and KDEP Thia Task ia nov complete These maps were referenced in the Tour I and Tour II data package the Remedial Investigation Report and they were used in the Draft Feasibility Study

TASK 9 - PROJECT OPERATION PLAN

The Project Operation Plan baa been approved by both the EPA and the MDEP On April 22 1987 E C Jordan submitted an addendum to the POP which covered the teat pitting procedure employed in Tour II subsurface soil analysis No further additions or changes to the POP are anticipated

TASK 10 - FIELD MOBILIZATION

No mobilization of equipment occurred in Karch and none ia anticipated for April

TASK 11 - DOMESTIC WELL SURVEY

This task haa been completed Results frobull this survey have been incorporated with the results presented in the Tour I data package These results were incorporated into the RI Report

TASK 13 bull RIMOTE SENSING INVESTIGATION

The PRPs have responded to two independent ts of photoartric conts Pursuant to the agreeaent between the aaeneies and the PRP s third round coaaents were addressed Jn the discussion of this task in the RI report

TASK 14 bull MONITOFING WEUS

With the analysis of aonitoring well samples taken in July 1987 a complete groundwater hydroloaic cycle was aonitored This data was reported with the results froa Tour II and was incorporated in the RI report No further aroundvater sampling is required for the RIFS process

TASK 15 bull HYDROLOGIC STUDIES

Hydroloaic studies were concluded with the reportinamp of site hydroloaic characteristics in the RI report

TASK 16 bull ENVIRONMENTAL SAMPLING ampANALYSIS

This task has been completed

TASK 17 middot SITE SURVEY

This task has been coapleted

TASK 18 bull DATA REDUCTION

This task was coapleted with the subaission of data in the RI report
