Come experience the ancient art form of Indian classical music with Drisha MusicAcademy. Established in 2005 by Mrs Monali Shome (Sangeet Prabhakar in HindustaniClassical Music), the Academy has been offering classes to children and adults inJohannesburg.

The syllabus followed is as stipulated by the Hindustani Classical Music Gharana(University of Chandigarh – Pracheen Kala Kendra, India), to which the Academy isaffiliated. The classical basis of the classes ensures that students improve in all styles towhich they are exposed, including Ghazal, Bhajan and Bollywood.

Due to numerous requests, Drisha Music Academy is launching a number of new classesfrom 1st July 2010. Enrolment for classes has commenced for the areas listed below.
