So by now you should be getting the hang of this 12 bar thing! This song is another example of how a 12 bar has
slight variations each time, but not much! In this 12 bar blues we stay on the 5th chord (E7) for 2 bars, rather than
the 5th for one bar then down to the 4th for the second bar.
As far as the verses go, we are simply playing our 12 bar shuffle technique that we learnt this module. Remember
to keep the right hand swinging and block off the D, G, B and E strings! Watch out for those stops as well in the
intro and the guitar solo. You simply play the A5 chord once at the beginning of the 1st and 3rd bars.
T H E C H O R U S R I F F
The chorus is a little more complicated and relies on you moving between a rhythm and lead part. Take your
time with it and simply focus on the A part (first 4 bars) before moving on.
