That's what this process will do because we don't focus on one system, we don't focus on one part, we're looking at the integration of all of who you are. Okay, they're re-joiner, and Michelle, hi, welcome. It's so nice to see some of you again. Some of you were my private clients years ago and it's wonderful to have you all here. Let me give you an idea of the flow of the webinar. The flow of the webinars. I want to, always going to start off [00:05:30] the webinars, Jeannie will be joining me next week and she'll be joining us subsequent weeks so this might be the only one I'm here with you alone, kicking off the inaugural webinar but so we're going to start off and we always want to know when we start off, what is new and good because we really want to start training your brain to find that and focus on what's new and good and we're going to have a kind of a catch up in the beginning of each webinar.

Then we're going to move into a presentation [00:06:00] and I'm going to present to you the module that you're working on because I want you to understand it in a different way. Now, most of you will have already watched the videos and read the handouts by the time you come to the webinar but it's okay if you don't, okay? We are going to meet you where you are. This is a program that attracts people without energy and with anxiety and who tend to get easily overwhelmed and I'm looking in the Facebook group and I'm seeing that, right? I'm seeing, "Ah," you know, so [00:06:30] what we want to do is we just want you to take a deep breath, calm down, have fun with this.

So many times when you're in that wound up nervous system state, having fun isn't even an option but you know what, I'm here to tell you, it is. You cannot do this program wrong. It's something that's different than anything else you have ever done, I promise you that. It is a

____________________________________________________________________________ breakthrough program but because of that, it can be scary, because the mind wants [00:07:00] to grab on to something external, to feel safe which is a protocol. Try to implement it, try to do it perfectly, that doesn't exist within this space. Perfectionism is part of the imbalance, right, that we're trying to heal. What we are going to be working on is creating an inner GPS and so if you feel overwhelmed, you take a step back, you breathe and then you do one action item at a time, okay?

[00:07:30] We're not going anywhere. You've got access to this program for the life of the program and so let's take baby steps if you're overwhelmed. I will always end the webinars with Q and A. A lot of times, like today, I'm going to probably have 40 minutes of Q and A. I've got a short presentation for you because I really want to get to know everybody. Okay, before we get into the presentation, if you took the assessment, which most of you probably have, what I want to know, type in the chat before I go to the presentation, which tier are you? Are you in tier one? Are you tier [00:09:30] two, so I know how to address you as we go through. Shaye is in tier two. So far everybody except for Lori in tier two. Jan, tier one. All right, okay. Yeah, looks like we're about 70/30 tier two to tier one.

We're going to explain the assessment. We're going to explain the tier two as we go and let me explain tier one and my presentation should clear up a lot of questions. Before I get into that, I just want to have you be looking out for the team. Okay, you have seen Janine Messenger in the Facebook group and [00:10:30] she is our lead of operations and she is our clarity and our harmony ninja and so when you see, she's posting, she really helped us go through, make sure that the ReCode make sense and flows with you.

She is a wonderful problem solver and if there are any problems with the logs, she has now have those fixed. We just want to make sure that everybody can hear us perfectly and see and really focus because I want you to focus so many of your questions are going to get answered in the presentation. All right, if my [00:12:00] image is blurry, I'm going to go off of camera for this and start our presentation here. My image should come back just fine so hoping everybody can see and hear the presentation. Now, you are in Module 1, How To Implement Module 1 but we're going to start off with some housekeeping before we get into the journey. [00:12:30] What I want to do first is I want to congratulate you for having the courage to join this program because this is a breakthrough program and it tends to generate a lot of fear for people and we realized that last time.

Gustavo who you'll meet on these webinars and in the Facebook group was in our last group. He says cheers to having the courage and stoking the faith and he's doing a ReCode for a second time, with all of [00:13:00] us and I just want to commend you because it takes a lot to really change your life and to even make the first step and that's what you did. Now, I want you to look at this, like you've got crazy glue on your feet, you are going to walk this path. There is no turning back, right? You've got so many people here to support you to reach the goals that you just typed into the chat. Are you ready to start this journey?

[00:13:30] Let's talk about a little bit of the flow. When I say, housekeeping and logistics, Chrome is going to be your best browser to use if you're having trouble seeing or hearing, you close out all other programs, Netflix, anything that could take up a lot of bandwidth, Skype, for the best webinar experience. You use your earbuds for the best audio quality and then the webinar flow goes, we're going to intro and we're going to... we'll do a little Q and [00:14:00] A in future ones, in the beginning to make sure you understand the previous module. We'll start off with some Q and A, what's new and good and then we'll move into the presentation and then we'll move into Q and A on the module we're working on.

That's the webinar flow and you will primarily ask your questions in the webinar and in the Facebook group because we have so much live support. You're going to be seeing Jeanne in there starting next week on Wednesdays. I'm in there for [00:14:30] about an hour on Fridays and so instead of being in there live. direct to camera, what Jeanne and I do is we actually will post, make a post and make it sticky and then we will be answering your questions there. That way, it's written in text and everyone can benefit from the answers. That's between us, you'll have three hours, three and a half hours a week of live support there and if your questions are not answered within those forums then you submit a ticket to the clinical team, [00:15:00] okay?

That's basically the flow of getting your questions answered and you better believe that if you have a question, that a lot of other ReCoders have the same question. We also have a Google

____________________________________________________________________________ for the Adrenal ReCode inside of our portal so you can type in a lot of questions and get a lot of answers, very detailed answers that way as well. Okay, so housekeeping and logistics. [00:15:30] Please do not, if you tag Jeanne and I in the Facebook group outside of the scheduled time that we're scheduled to be there, right, this applies to the live version only, don't expect a reply. In order to support a large group, we can't be constantly answering things within the Facebook group because we have worked with, at the whole journey with all of our programs well over 20,000 people.

We know the flow that works the best, to [00:16:00] not diffuse our energies too much and to be able to help the most amount of people, customize in the right way. Also, we have our designated times that we will be in the group. We will be there for you, answering questions and everything else let's just say is a bonus, right, because I'm always popping in there and so, I'll answer what I can answer but I just want to setup your expectations realistically as we go through these next 10 weeks. Please keep everything running through the right channels versus private messaging or direct emailing [00:16:30] us or DM'ing us on Instagram with really detailed questions because we create these... all these different kinds of supportive answers and our platforms works really well to be able to help you.

Okay, so you went through and hopefully, you read everything and you watched all the videos and so, really right now, all you're supposed to be doing is wrapping your brain around Module 1 and so setting yourself [00:17:00] up for success is going to be really important, kind of setting the container for how you're going to go through this program and easing into your day is going to be one of the most important things. It's really bad for your nervous system to just railroad into your day and you kind of have no tether in that case. I've recorded ReCode Morning Ritual For You and that is something to listen to.

Five minutes and if it doesn't resonate with [00:17:30] you, then find another thing where you just do alternate nostril breathing for a few minutes or you do a quick writing of what your day is about or stream of consciousness to process your dreams. Something that's kind of quiet and grounding. I know a lot of you have kids. I've got an 18 month old. I don't always get up before him. Usually, I'm woken up to like the screaming, right, "Mama," and so in that case, I'll get that time wherever I can and so that might be after I take him to [00:18:00] his day care, right? Just find a way to ease into your day, that works for you. You are going to need to prep and plan ahead and realistic list making is going to really help you do that.

I use that term realistic because the ReCode, as I would say, I used to be type A and we have a lot of people who are high achievers, over achievers. We get a lot done but we can also [00:18:30] put a lot of pressure on ourselves. Start with some realistic list making, that to do list that has 40 things on it. Make yourself feel successful if you get the first five done, right? Cooking in bulk is going to make sure you don't spend your life in the kitchen on a Sunday night, something like that. You're going to be roasting root vegetables and maybe broiling fish at the same time and this is... it can be a pretty simple process.

[00:19:00] There's a lot of ways we can talk about it. You can save time by getting vegetables that are already pre-washed and pre-cut and there's a lot of easy assembling on this plan to where you're not spending your life in the kitchen because you don't have the energy or the time but you do have to and then four is really important, go against the flow. In order to be ReCoded, in order to have balance in our modern day world, we have to be counter-cultural [00:19:30] because our society does not have this as a general value system to slow down, be present and create space and so, we have to create our own little microcosmic culture of this here and that's what we're doing in the ReCode.

Of course, being consistent and so, if you're overwhelmed, all we want you to do is be consistent. You can cut back, you can scale way back on anything that you feel is overwhelming you but just be consistent. [00:20:00] Janine posted in the Facebook group, I posted slow and steady wins the race, far and away, okay? You're just going to have to decide how to stay focused and you've got all this live support to help you and then have boundaries and be okay saying no. We're really going to talk about the whole boundary piece of this, when we get to the emotional mastery into part two because having appropriate boundaries especially a lot of our ReCoders tend to be givers.

[00:20:30] We give and we give and we give but we're giving from an empty cup and so for right now, be okay saying no. Shortening up the social calendar to create space for this. It's okay if you missed your exercise because you're focusing on this. Start to look at okay, where can you clip things so that you can focus on your own healing process, because once you really get this and once you get healed, your bandwidth will exponentially increase [00:21:00] along with your joy. It's just temporary and then those of you who are overwhelmed, alternate nostril breathing is going to be a really good friend of yours in the first module.

It literally can take you from fight or flight to rest, digest and heal, to calm your nervous system within five to seven minutes of doing that. You will see ReCode mantras peppered all throughout this program. We suggest you cut them out. Jenny [00:21:30] is our wonderful creative director and does all of our graphics and she's also a ReCoder herself and so she's created all of this for us and so putting them out, cutting them out, pasting them around so that, they truly do become mantras and they become a way of being. Consistency is a jewel. That is a Shakespeare quote and that is what will make your mark much more than how fast you move forward just that you're consistent with wherever you are.

[00:22:00] Okay, so we are about 80% tier two it looks like with this group and so I want to explain your assessment questionnaires so you understand that Jeanne and I put this together for you. It's an algorithmic questionnaire and I have run well over a thousand labs looking at the sex hormones, looking at the thyroid, looking at cortisol patterns and DHEA [00:22:30] and really melatonin and understanding everything. We have kind of four principles which built this algorithmic assessment on and the first is that your hormonal

____________________________________________________________________________ system is influenced by your nervous system, unbelievably influenced by your nervous system. You cannot have balanced hormones if you don't have a healthy nervous system.

A lot of us are doing it on the backend trying to use bioidentical hormones but you can't put these kinds [00:23:00] of hormones into a chaotic system because they will be driving up the wrong pathways and even if you get a semblance of hormonal balance, it will be temporary until or unless the nervous system is healed. A lot of our questions were just trying to understand your current hormonal system and how the nervous system is influencing it. Okay, because it's a neurologically driven system that is designed to adapt over time. I'm talking about your nervous system here.

[00:23:30] Starting neurologically what you are experiencing right now, every aspect of your health, whether it would be insomnia, weight gain, or all of the things that you put, anxiety and overwhelm, it's not just because of what you're experiencing in life right now, your life situation. It is a reflection of, and then more importantly, you gotta get this, it's an adaptation to your entire life experience and your entire life story, starting from pre-conception [00:24:00] all the way to now. Our entire life affects us and I don't think this is something that I would have been able to understand until I lived it.

I would say, way back in 2003, when I first started this work and I got that living in parasympathetic dominance, I thought, so I'm not an easily irritated or easily triggered person. I'm not easily frustrated. I can't believe it, I thought that I was. I almost made it judgment [00:24:30] about myself but I had adapted to that state from everything my entire life story and now, I was starting to learn to adapt out of it which is your true self, when you have a healthy healed nervous system. That's when you finally get to actually meet yourself. It's going to be so beautiful. I can't wait for you to experience this. Okay, so in this assessment, this is an adaptation, okay?

What [00:25:00] happens throughout life? Whatever the situation, whether it's the childhood, maybe your mom had a very sensitive nervous system, maybe your mom didn't birth you with a healthy nervous system, genetically, I say that was my situation. I just didn't... I came into this world like that and so I had never experienced that sense of safety until I found this work and so what we're trying to figure out in the questionnaire with all of you, of putting even tier one or tier two is we know [00:25:30] that the adaptations of life have forced us, all of us at some point to sacrifice our long-term health because we had no choice but to prioritize short-term survival.

That's what happens in fight or flight. Tier one or tier two with all these questions we ask and all the different algorithmic weights that we gave each and every question, we needed to figure out when and how long did your body prioritize short-term survival over long-term health and those of you where this happen [00:26:00] for a really long time, you are now in tier two over tier one, right? We don't need all these different tracks to help you customize

____________________________________________________________________________ the program to meet your cellular needs. That's what's so beautiful. We just need to split to understand what your body can experience now to help you gain the most traction.

It's simple, although the questions and the algorithms are complex, the result is simple and the goal [00:26:30] is to either create for some of you for the first time like it was me or recreate a state of balance between these two very important branches of your nervous system, sympathetic and parasympathetic. It's like you've got to be able to toggle back and forth easily between effort and release, right? That's where you learn these life skills and life becomes a much more graceful harmonious experience and when we know, we've been there, usually the ReCoders with by the third week, [00:27:00] the fourth week, you're really getting it.

It's like, you had these glasses on and we take them off and you just can't believe what's happening because what's happening is we're creating this ideal environment for the deepest level of healing to occur and that's in your digestive system, that's in your immune system, those of you with Hashimoto's, those of you with stomach problems. That's in the thyroid, in the adrenals and you start to see wow, okay, the body can start to finally heal [00:27:30] and stay in that healing zone. That would be the algorithmic assessment, that's more of an objective approach that from years of running lab work and genius work with well over a thousand people with this work, that's kind of the objective, where we're looking at the science of it all.

You will realize as we go through the Adrenal ReCode, it is so important to become intuitive and to understand this brilliant bio-computer, this [00:28:00] mind, this body, the spirit you are born inside of and so that's why we have your physical wheel of life and your emotional wheel of life which you will take three times throughout this process and I don't want any of the previous ReCoders to share the results but you'll see as you fill this out, it's going to look like a little bit of a star. These are the 16 things that you will get the most improvement on, on the ReCode and so, you are going [00:28:30] to fill it out and see how do you currently feel about all these different aspects of your life.

Then you'll fill it out again, when we move on to part two and again, at the end and you're going to see the star turning into a beautiful wheel as you go through this process. Okay, so we do our assessments, we know what tier we're in. Before I go into this, I need to say this and I need for you guys to get it because your body is always [00:29:00] going to trump the protocol. I've answered a ton of questions over these last several weeks and even people who just started the ReCode, some of you are, start sending in five to seven questions, what if I do this and what if I do that, what if my body responds like this after I have the elixir, can I leave the honey out?

Of course, what if the golden milk makes me feel bloated? Don't drink it, right? We have a protocol but we're going to constantly be teaching you how to trust your own body, how to

This kind of requires three levels of trust as we go through this and then you'll really understand how to do this for yourself, really for the rest of your life as we teach this kind of intuitive nutrition. Remember that, your body will always trump the protocol. Okay, I had somebody say hey, on tier two where there's no way I can eat within 30 minutes of waking up because I like to luxuriate and then I have my elixir and I have my supplements, all [00:30:00] this.

It's like, well, we want you to luxuriate, we want you to feel good and so if it's going to cause stress, kind of force those two things together, then that's defeating the point and the purpose of why you're in the adrenal ReCode. Do you see what I mean? Your body trumps the protocol, just make sure you get that food within one hour max. That's your deadline. Okay, your guidelines for tier one or tier two, okay, you have your ReCode food lists that is in Module 1 that you download and these are all the foods that we want [00:30:30] you to start adding in to your diet. Now, all I really want you to do is go grocery shopping and get a lot of these foods in your kitchen.

The foods that sound good to you. A lot of you have histamine intolerance. You've got food sensitivities. Don't get those foods. Get the foods that you know work with you, as we heal your gut throughout this program and your mucosal lining comes back online, your food sensitivities are going to start to go away. Histamine intolerance, we're going to turn down the dial on that. Tier one, you can try to eat all the food in [00:31:00] the food list, if they work for you. Tier two, you're going to avoid the foods to eat in moderation for the first four weeks of the ReCode. The idea guys is to give you the easiest foods to digest, that are metabolic meaning, they get delivered into the cell to be used as energy instead of hanging out there in the body is like, what do I do with this, right?

I want your body... your digestive organs have been overworked when you're in this state and everything just needs a break so what we're doing is we're going to give it a break [00:31:30] by giving you these metabolic foods. You can add them in, tier two after the first four weeks of the ReCode and let your body decide, are you ready for these foods. You'll know exactly how your belly processes them at that point, okay? Avoid the foods that you are intolerant to. The foods that you know, don't work with you. We will help you add foods back in one at a time. A lot of people heal dairy sensitivity on this program.

[00:32:00] If that's something that you have a goal to do, dairy is a delicious food and it is really well-balanced and macronutrient and high in nutrition as long as it comes from top quality animals. If that is a goal of yours, we will help you do that. If you do not want dairy in your life, you don't have to have it, okay? Eat within an hour of waking. That's the drop dead deadline for both tiers. Tier two, you get further traction if you can eat within 30 [00:32:30] minutes of waking. I know that it's not easy because you generally don't wake up with an appetite and when we release Module 2 tomorrow, you will get sample meal plans for tier one

____________________________________________________________________________ and tier two because we know that tier twos, don't really wake up with an appetite, your meal plans are completely different.

There are things that are very easy to get down, even if you're almost nauseated by food, okay? Now, tier one, check in with your body. We want you to at least have something to eat three hours [00:33:00] before bed time in order to keep your blood sugar balanced so you can sleep soundly throughout the night. Now, a night time snack is more or less required for tier two and we really lack the ability to regulate your blood sugar and two, especially those of you who are not sleeping. If you're tier one and you're not sleeping and you're waking up between 1 and 4 AM, you really got to have a snack, okay? That's where your body trumps the protocol and I can give you ideas once we get to the [00:33:30] Q and A and we're going to be re-releasing 27 additional ideas tomorrow.

I can give you ideas right now. Okay, tier two avoid nuts and seeds. It's just not going to be processed well for you. Tier one, soaked, roasted, paired with protein and a carbohydrate. The only caveat is if the cashews and the banana cashews, the salty banana, if that really works for you in your tier two, you can continue it. You see, your body trumps the protocol. Okay, [00:34:00] food frequency, these are general guidelines because a lot of you have come to us from intermittent fasting or a ketogenic diet, and so we don't want you to all of a sudden be eating all these additional times, you'll gain weight, get bloated and you won't be able to think straight.

For right now, just think okay, where can I add in one additional small meals, not like this full meal or snack throughout the day where I'm not eating and it should be at a period where you have low energy or you have anxiety. [00:34:30] That's where you're going to plug in just the one additional meal and then when we meet next week, I'm going to dive so deep into all of our dietary guidelines and you'll really understand how to customize this, okay? Supplements, Whole Daily + Multivitamin, that can be with both breakfast and lunch because this is the only multi right now. We're going to be coming out with our own soon because it's necessary that it's targeted for the adrenals and the thyroid for the [00:35:00] nutrients that they are deficient in.

You need more thiamine, you need more riboflavin, fruits for the adrenals... excuse for the thyroid to be able to generate cellular energy. More selenium, these things in high amounts, more vitamin C, the adrenals need B5, pantothenic acid in higher amounts especially right now because it helps you convert your food into fuel and so many of you are here and you're eating but you're not converting that [00:35:30] food into fuel and so, this is kind of going to help you bump that up and speed that up because if you feel better quicker, we can get you feeling 30 to 50% better than you're feeling right now, within the next two to three weeks, it's gravy right, of course you're going to continue on the rest of the program and just keep getting healthier and healthier and so that's the goal.

Okay, so I know we have some questions coming in on supplements. The supplement packages for tier one and tier two are [00:36:00] optional, you can do this program with food but there's a lot of you who are sick and tired of being sick and tired and you say, I want these symptoms abated now. I want to feel better faster and quicker and you're willing to take supplements. I am definitely a supplement expert and I research everything, from how the soil is tilled and re-mineralized to how everything is grown, how it's processed, how they... what [00:36:30] lubricant they use on the machines, how high they heat that up and you're really as a clinician only as good as the quality of the formulas that you work with.

I very carefully have chosen for you, tier one, the vitamin D, 80% of you, all of us are low in vitamin D. Okay, when you get your lab work done, you should all do that, at least once a year with your doctor and the functional range is between 60 and 100 but the medical, traditional allopathic medical range [00:37:00] is between 30 and 100 and you are going to have immune implications that are going to adversely affect your thyroid and your adrenal glands if your vitamin D is low. We want to be able to make sure that we're getting adequate D. Got the multi, Ashwagandha is the number one most important adaptogen in this program because it literally translates to the strength of 10,000 horses and it will modulate the cortisol response if [00:37:30] you don't have enough cortisol at the right time.

It will give you... help your body create more. If you have too much, it will lower it and it will also feed the thyroid at the same time. It's your thyroid adrenal, adaptogen, great for sensitive souls, those of us who have a lot of anxiety, great for those of us who are empaths and we just... you need that added layer of protection. It is a nightshade for those with autoimmune problems, however, I have never really had a problem giving it and working [00:38:00] with it on protocols and it really does help wonders with Hashimoto's and so I have decided to incorporate it because of that reason. Liver, if you're not going to eat organ meats on this program, I totally get it.

I'm grossed out by them myself. I've tried every which way from Sunday, except every now and then, I'll make Mary's banging liver recipe which you will get tomorrow in our recipe book. If you're not going to eat liver, then that would be the... for all [00:38:30] of you, if you don't do any other supplement but Whole Daily + Multivitamin, I would definitely add in liver, because it's going to help tremendously with cellular energy which is the number one goal of this program. You get cellular energy revved and the entire body starts functioning better. Then, we expand out here for tier two and we have L-theanine. For those of you with a lot of stress and a lot of anxiety, you can use this as a crutch until you start to live in [00:39:00] parasympathetic dominance and take it as needed.

It's very safe, it's even safe for pregnancy and breastfeeding and I took it after my son was born. You can tend to get a lot of anxiety after you have a baby because you get this huge progesterone drop and then your estrogen starts to rise because you're not sleeping and

It's actually a really nice thing to go to in that phase of life. Those of you in tier two who are not [00:39:30] sleeping, I highly encourage you taking the PS Plus, that's Phosphatidylserine. It's a fat compound that's going to bind the high cortisol at night. It will work with your night time snack, it won't work without a snack but it will bind to your high cortisol at night and put down because your Circadian rhythms are flipped.

We need to flip them back the right way so that you can sleep at night and have energy during the day. A lot of trouble with your blood sugar balance in tier two, chromium was a [00:40:00] life-changer for me and I wrote all about it in the supplement handout. We could all use a little bit of health. It is really is one of the top 10 deficiencies especially if we've been in the State for a really long time which more tier two people have been in the State longer than tier one people. Then, Rhodiola. Rhodiola is going to really help to generate energy and for those of you who are struggling with depression as well.

Those of you who have really been struggling with autoimmune problems, [00:40:30] when you have this kind of chronic low level infection which is usually part and parcel responsible for developing autoimmunity, Rhodiola is going to really assist with that and help to bring up your moods and help to bring up your energy levels. That's the dish on the supplements and there's much more information that I put together. I did a video for you on each and every supplement and I also wrote it out for you in Module 1. [00:41:00] Now, if you are pregnant or if you are nursing, you don't take the Ashwagandha and don't take the Rhodiola and don't take the Phosphatidylserine.

That's only because... I'm not going to say that they're not necessarily safe, but there's just no studies on them so in an abundance of caution, let's just err on the side of caution. There's so many other things that you can do. Okay, so [00:41:30] what we are trying to establish right now in Module 1 and next week, when we start adding in body temperature and pulse is establishing your baseline, okay, so I want you guys to all think about GPS and what you're doing, if I said, if you have no idea where you were and I said, "Hey, meet me here," you have no idea how to get there. Your GPS is broken because you need to know where you're starting and so, basically by having you [00:42:00] establish your baseline and start slow, you're dropping a pin.

You know how if you're lost, you drop somebody a pin and you say, here's the pin, here's where I am, come find me, right? This is basically, you're dropping a pin so we know where you are because we cannot help you if we don't know where you are so that's it, you're just observing what you're doing now. That's what establishing your baseline is and in the adrenal ReCode, we believe the key to thriving [00:42:30] in life is the integration of all the single parts and pieces of the body in to a whole system of systems, okay? The baseline is going to allow your whole system in real time to be assessed. We're going to get a current snapshot of where you are now which will give us a clear starting point.

That way when you start to take temperature and pulse, okay, now, we can start to make more sense of it and as we extrapolate this out over the next couple of weeks, I promise [00:43:00] you it will make sense and I think that a lot of the overwhelm and the stress... and you're not alone because the last group went through it. We get the most tickets and the most fear and confusion the first couple of weeks and then the beta group before them, it's the same thing because this is so different than anything that's out there, that there's really nothing to compare it to and it's kind of like a labyrinth, right, for you right now.

You cannot see anything more than the first step and we don't even want you to [00:43:30] but I will say, please don't fear or dread doing your logs, your food and mood logs. They are your greatest power tool in the Adrenal ReCode and we worked really hard to develop an amazing app for you that you are going to be logging in, any issues you have with it should now be fixed as of 10:00 Pacific this morning and so, going in and logging this week, you'll be logging just three days. It's not even everyday but three consecutive [00:44:00] days, just write down the food that you're eating. Just start to get used to, okay, here's what I'm doing.

Here's where I am. If you're a female, here's where I am in my cycle. This is what time I went to bed and this what I ate, about how much I ate and this is how I feel, okay? It's not fun doing your logs. I didn't enjoy doing my logs when I had to do them but it is insightful and it is the way to hit those goals that you posted when we first started this webinar. [00:44:30] What we're going to understand, right, by the time we meet again next week is we're going to get a clear perspective on how your physiology has been affected by your days, your weeks, your months and all the years of your life perceiving this present moment.

This baseline is going to help us understand, is your body able to withstand the stress of each day? For the vast majority of you, the answer is going to be no and now, we have a compass so we can [00:45:00] start to point you in the right direction to customize your journey so that way, there are no more shots in the dark because we can help you get yourself guaranteed into the healing zone, right, into parasympathetic dominance and keep going because we're going to be locking out that cortisol bath that happens of living off the stress hormones and interrupting, interrupting, interrupting until before you know it, it's easy for your body to live in that [00:45:30] parasympathetic dominance state.

All right, so we're going to go through the four steps. I will answer any questions you have in just a few minutes, when we come back, I come back to camera and we do the Q and A. How to establish your baseline? You are going to schedule three consecutive days of logging each week, okay? Pick your days because from now through the end of the program, we need you logging three consecutive days. Don't [00:46:00] even look at macronutrients. I don't even want you to think about macronutrients right now. We're going to think about temperature and pulse next week and not until we get into Module 3, are we going to really start to look at

Enter inside your portal, you will log into the online food and mood logging app. Now, the portal should be simple to navigate, there is a tab at the top [00:46:30] that says, logs, all you do is click on that. Now, record your food and food frequency. Basically, record what it is you're eating. Record what it is you're eating and when you're eating. I know this sentence doesn't make sense. Record when you eat. Okay, get the word, make out of there. Now, record the portion size, that's it. What are you eating, when are you eating, how much are you eating, okay? Then, when we start to [00:47:00] look at subjective assessments tune into yourself. What time did you go to sleep, what was the quality of the sleep?

A lot of you because the nervous system is revved and many of you are also probably taking sleeping pills and things like that, you see like you're kind of forced the brain to shut down but the nervous system is still running so that's why it's not restful sleep. Record the quality of the sleep. Was it deep in the first four hours, was it deep in the second four hours of sleep? The first four hours of sleep is physical repair, the second [00:47:30] four is psychic repair. Let's start to understand this. The activity, not just exercise, of course you want to know your exercise but did you sit at a desk all day, did you chase the kids around, did you run errands, were you traveling, like that type of activity.

Talk about your energy level and your moods and your feelings and if you are female, we want to know your menstrual cycle, okay, because it's time to pull in and you'll see, they'll be time to pull in and have more [00:48:00] carbs during the menstrual cycle and before. There will be time to have less carbs and come back out as energy comes up through ovulation and so, you're really going to be able to start almost guiding your life through your menstrual cycle of knowing when it's time to pull in and when it's time to come to expand, okay? The more specific you can be at recording now, the more information that we will have in Module 3 to help you customize. [00:48:30] Then, we get to action items. If you have not... okay, so there's that third of you that haven't read and watched everything in Module 1 so head over there and do that at some point.

In the next couple of days, take your ReCode questionnaire assessment and figure out which tier you're on. If you haven't done that, fill out your wheel of life. Print your food list and hit the grocery store. Everything that releases tomorrow is going to be your food list [00:49:00] dietary guidelines. I don't want you to get overwhelmed with that. I just want you to start wrapping your brain around these guidelines. We'll be here to help you implement them in all of the live sessions over the next couple of weeks. Drink your elixir and most of you are already doing that because you took the mini course. Eat breakfast. Again, most of you are already doing that. We're going to open up your food world tremendously tomorrow with Module 2 release.

Coffee. Now, this is a big one for a lot of you. [00:49:30] I don't want you to drink coffee before 10 AM or after 1 PM and I know we usually start the day, a lot of us with coffee but we're going to upgrade it, it's going to be organic, get the Lion's mane mushroom powder if you can. You can get it online and even a lot of grocery stores now have it. Health food stores now have it. It's a nervine, it's going to help new nerve growth and it's going to help make sure that coffee doesn't do damage because here's the problem. We're going to catch 22, like caffeine is [00:50:00] not great for our nervous system but yet, we need it to function, right, because caffeine is going to force the release of adrenaline and cortisol which is what we're trying to reverse but we can't just take it away.

You are going to upgrade and crowd it out and we've had a ReCoder say, you know what, I totally forgot to drink my coffee for two days in a row and that never happens and it may or may not happen to you. Before 10 AM, we've got to let the food generate cellular energy. [00:50:30] We can't create that continued cortisol bath, which is what you will do if you have caffeine before 10 AM. Plan your day accordingly okay and your projects and all of that and breathe, please take three deep breaths, take a deep breath with me right now. Take an inhale and then exhale through your nose, longer than you're inhale, okay, just brings everything down and into [00:51:00] perspective.

So many of us have been breathing so shallow for long and we're not using the most important free tool that is inside of us and with us all the time and it can control our emotions and it can really control our power as a human being, because it can bring you back into the present moment and it can ground you so then you are able to respond instead of react. Have your golden milk or your salty banana and [00:51:30] again, we're going to give you all kinds of ideas and either one of those work for you tomorrow and I can also do that with you in just a few minutes. Decide on your supplements. Plan and schedule the five tips for creating healthy habits, watch the video that Janine put together, how to log without macros.

It's very clear. It takes the fear out of it and explains it and we appreciate that very much Janine. Start to establish your baseline, right, [00:52:00] and then download the Module 1 mantras. We've got several mantras, cut them out, print them out and also, the playlist. Music is important and I will tell you, this is the most personal program that I have ever put together and every single song I have chosen because I know where you are in your journey and that every word and every song and I know how music can you feel and move energy, so go ahead and listen to that. Burning goal [00:52:30] is the first song for us, as a ReCode group.

As long as I stare at it, there's nothing else I can see, right, but if you stare at it long enough, all of a sudden, you can see both pictures.

I don't know if you've ever seen those but that's kind of like what this process is. Right now, you're [00:53:30] only going to be able to see what you can see but within the next couple of weeks, all this makes sense and it's going to be like wow, so I can't wait for that but in the meantime, just know, just take a deep breath and we've got you. I love that you're talking with each other. Anne, I think I answered your question, what are the main differences between the tiers. Okay, and so [00:54:30] Melanie... Okay, Melanie says, a question about dairy, I'm on tier two, can I start testing it now or do I need to wait? Great question. You can start testing dairy now but if you haven't eaten it in a while, then you should start off with just one ounce of sheep or goat's milk cheese because those are easier to digest. They digest quicker than cow's milk. If those work for you, then you can expand and you can do one ounce of Mascarpone cheese, Parmesan cheese and Ricotta cheese. [00:55:00] I know a lot of Ricottas loved adding that back in and then we'll go from there and see how you do.

Okay, Kimberly, please clarify about coffee, are we supposed to drink it, it makes me very shaky but I'm willing. No, you are not supposed to drink it. It's just that a lot of people are attached to their coffee as that bold, rich, ceremonial cup, right, of something and so, we don't want you to feel deprived, we don't want to take it away. If you're not drinking coffee Kimberly, it makes you feel shaky, do not [00:55:30] drink it because I will tell you on tier two your bodies are so sensitive, as my body is sensitive and these bodies do not need caffeine, okay? Ene, great question. I have high blood pressure, do I still need to add salt? Yes, but half the amount of salt.

Himalayan pink salt has a lot less sodium than table salt. Never Ene use table salt so half of the amount but again, high blood pressure is something that you're going to see, that's [00:56:00] going to start to really normalize as you go through the programs especially after we go through part two, the emotional re-patterning part of the program. All right, Ruth, do I drink the elixir and eat within 30 minutes? Yes, ma'am, wake up, drink your morning elixir and within 30 minutes on tier two, have one of our meals. ____________________________________________________________________________ supplements, how did they compare, if we have our own supplements, can we finish those before spending more money?

Absolutely, yes, so our team... Joanne on our team is also a clinician and she did the kind of comparison to make sure that every recommendation we have for international supplements mirrors the quality of what we chose for those that are available nationally. You can feel comfortable with that and sure, you can finish what you have before spending [00:57:00] more money, just make sure it's good quality because your body can't process all that much right now and we don't need to do that whole expensive urine or worse, give ourselves vitamins and minerals that are not food based because a lot of the ones that are synthesized in the lab, science can't replicate certain co-factors that actually help us use the vitamins.

We can create a deficiency by taking vitamins, when we're in this state so that's my only caveat there. [00:57:30] Okay, Kristina, in the past, dietary changes caused me to have major anxiety and moodiness. How can I avoid this now? See, that's a great question because a lot of people are scared about getting major anxiety and changes. You Kristina, you are going to establish your baseline just do this week, just establish your baseline, add in one to three foods that are on the food list and slowly start [00:58:00] to expand and let's understand. We need to understand, and we'll help you do that, as soon as the next webinar.

Once we see, once you see the first three days of logs and then you can ask questions on the webinar and we'll say, okay, here is where that might be coming from. Add in certain foods that you've maybe eaten in the past but you haven't been eating now and then with you, we're just going to do like three new foods a week so you're going to be someone who goes really slow on this plan and that's great. [00:58:30] There's nothing wrong with it, don't feel behind. All right, good question, Jane. If I don't drink coffee, should I still add Lion's mane to a hot drink? Yeah and Lion's mane, if you don't drink coffee, Lion's mane is a wonderful supplement but you can add it into any of our smoothies.

We've got like a ReCode smoothie that I really kind of worked on for taste and nutrient profile and macro profile and I add lines made to that, so maybe instead you just have a ReCode [00:59:00] smoothie several times a week or even up to once a day. All right, okay, so Danielle says, after reading through more, I'm wondering how to kick Candida simultaneously, how can I do that? Those of you who also have Candida, I want you to just kind of do the program for the first couple of weeks, let's see if we can get you into your parasympathetic nervous system and then let's evaluate the symptoms of Candida and then [00:59:30] you'll have several options.

Put an added tablespoon of collagen in there and some salt and have that with a piece of fruit, so that can handle you for tonight and that goes for anybody who the other two snacks don't work for, okay? Yes, Nicole, there you go. I'm glad you don't drink coffee, get the Lion's mane and smoothie, that's kind of the best way to get it in. All right, Krista, another Krista, spelled differently. [01:02:00] I'm sleeping through the night when I cut back on carbs versus adding the carbs, is this okay? This Krista is where your body trumps the protocol and so what your hormonal system is telling you that it doesn't necessarily need the carbs because it's actually might be creating too much energy at night, listen to your body for sure.

Kelly, will there be a low fat FODMAP options for food. I think I may need low FODMAP but totally sure yet. I'm so glad you asked that question. It's everything that you're doing currently. This is your baseline and we don't [01:04:00] expect you to only eat ReCode foods right now. We will get there over the next couple of weeks but for right now, too much change as somebody else said is too overwhelming on the physical body but also emotionally. Just record what you're doing now. This is... it's an exercise in intuitive nutrition to just become the observer to what you're already doing, okay? Okay, I don't see brown rice on the list Maja. I don't do well [01:04:30] on. Okay, so brown rice is not on the list. If brown rice is something you're doing now, then you can keep doing it and we'll evaluate whether we take it out.

This brown rice is something that I probably, especially tier two, I wouldn't have you add in for another month and when you do add it in, you've got to get the anti nutrients, the outer layer of phytic acid or phytates. You've got to get that off so your body doesn't have to fight to digest it and so, you have to soak it for one to eight hours. If you're [01:05:00] eating it now, it's working for you now, and you don't want to change anything because you're establishing your baseline, just soak it before you cook it, okay? Jan, is stevia okay to have? Yes, try to do dark liquid stevia because it's the least processed versus the powdered stevia. Okay, alternative bedtime snacks, we just talked about too, for those of you who don't do well on the golden milk or the bananas.

Then tomorrow, when you get in, you're going to get module release tomorrow, Module 2. [01:05:30] You're going to get 85 pages of recipes. There are macronutrients tied to each recipe. If you had a perfect night's sleep and a perfect world, which hopefully we'll get you to, what would be your natural waking time or your preferred waking time and [01:06:30] have it then because this is going to be telling... teaching your body, start to give it a directive of creating a cortisol rhythm, of creating a bell curve which we're going to be all be going for this beautiful bell curve over the next 10 weeks to restore our adrenal balance, okay? Andrea, can you take Ashwagandha with caffeine, I was told it was not okay.

Because Ashwagandha modulates cortisol, it's not that helpful to take [01:07:00] it with caffeine, because caffeine basically dysregulates our cortisol and so you're giving your body competing directives and I like Ashwagandha to be taken with food like a full meal. If you have your coffee with Lion's mane at 10 AM, you're also going to be having it with the light snack. If you take Ashwagandha, I'd rather see you take it with breakfast, lunch or dinner or two out of the three. Sure, so Ashley, you can avoid dairy for the first four weeks, as generally with [01:08:30] autoimmune disorders and then if you want to, right, if you start to get really good traction and you're thriving, you can start with an ounce of cheaper goat's milk cheese or yogurt or something like that and see how your body processes it because once we uncrossed the wire so to speak, once we remove an immunological burden from your body, then maybe your body can take this food in and use it as medicine. You're going to start to see a flip, right, a lot of you with food [01:09:00] sensitivities, your body is building up antibodies, looking at that food as this low form of poison but as you heal, hey, I can use this as medicine, it's pretty cool.

Typically, if I'm working with somebody privately, I would put them after I get some calm to their system. We may recommend that you give your pancreas a break by taking uncoated pancreatic enzymes with something in them called duodenum to basically just help the pancreas heal. When it's out of control, it really runs wild, imbalances other minerals, so you should be fine. If you get any kind of anxiety on it, then switch to the one [01:14:00] without copper. Okay, Lisa M., to record wake time, is it the first time we wake up or the second time if we go back to bed which starts our one hour countdown to eating? Good question. If you wake up to pee and you go back to bed, that doesn't count but it's when you get out of bed but if you're going to like wake up and read a book in bed or be on your phone, like that wake time counts. Maja, I'm underweight, is it okay to eat a little brown rice in tier two?

If you're already eating brown rice, then yes, [01:14:30] it's okay to eat brown rice. Just make sure, Maja that you soak the brown rice for one to eight hours, maybe overnight or something before you cook it, to make it more digestible. How much Lion's mane should we use in our coffee? Judy, a teaspoon is more than enough. Okay, Barbara, did I hear you say that cashews are okay with the salty banana for tier two? Yes, as long as you digest them okay, cashews are fine and for those of you who... the banana helps you sleep [01:15:00] a lot better and improves your moods but you get a little digestive distress.

You could try taking these 10 raw cashews and soaking them for one hour before you eat them and see if that helps and if it doesn't help, then we're going to switch you to a different snack, you could even do a tablespoon of coconut butter instead of cashews. Okay, Corey, I have esophageal issues, can any of the supplements be put in water? Some of them can, so the liver can be put in water. I wouldn't [01:15:30] put the multi in water. I would skip it. I just wouldn't want it to burn so let's just do this mostly with food with you Corey and I would also go to the health food store and get the whole leaf, the inner leaf aloe vera and add an ounce of that to your morning elixir instead of the lemon with esophageal issues.

Okay, Holly, I have high copper, I'm not supposed to have pink salt, what's the good substitute? Okay, so [01:16:00] a good substitute, can you try the Celtic Salt and if you can't do any salt at all then you just do a pinch of baking soda. Heather, I've integrated... Yeah, so what we're doing is we're going for the inflammation right now because if we can cut inflammation within your body, by going above the teaspoon and doing a tablespoon, then we can prevent... so the body releases cortisol, the stress hormone in response to inflammation. If you have pathogens in your body, bacteria balances off, they're going to be more active at night so we have the golden milk, we have the tablespoon [01:17:00] of it to cut the inflammation so the body doesn't have to release cortisol and if we can keep the inflammation at bay, that helps keep inflammation at bay throughout the whole day because turmeric is an indirect antioxidant that will train your liver to produce more of its own antioxidants for hours after consuming.

Eventually your liver is going to start to work better and inflammation will be a thing of the past. You won't need to take the golden milk anymore. Ruth, do I only take your suggestive supplements and stop all [01:17:30] of my own that I'm already taking? You can go either way so it would be better to do that, if it's possible for you to just make the switch and if that's something that you're afraid to do or you don't want to do, then on Friday, when I'm in the Facebook group at 11 AM Pacific on Friday, go ahead and list all the supplements that you're taking and I will respond to what you should keep and what you should get rid of and all of you can do that on Friday.

Teresa, how do we eat within 30 minutes of waking if taking thyroid medicine? Well, see here's where your body trumps the protocol. If you're on thyroid medicine, you're going to wait 45 minutes, so you do your elixir with your thyroid meds and 45 minutes later is when you'll eat something and if you're on thyroid meds and you want to get off of thyroid meds, this is a program that can help you do that. You're going to want to make sure you're testing [01:18:30] your thyroid within six weeks of being on this protocol.

I can almost guarantee you're going to get the healing to be able to lower the dose. Vanessa, I have a leaky gut that I can't seem to heal, what guidance do you give for this? Vanessa, I'm going to ask Lori Jo to paste the link here to a product called GI end cap. I would suggest that you take that, two with breakfast, two with lunch, two with dinner for at least the next month and then let's get the [01:19:00] healing and then let's re-evaluate again after a month and see if you need a deeper process. Maybe you need certain probiotics to start to rebuild the gut, maybe you need some anti-pathogenics at the same time but for now, that's the gentlest approach.

Adriana, hi. Tier one, never had the shoes falling or staying asleep. Good for you. However in the past few nights, I've woken up consistently in the middle of the night. Should I be concerned or is this normal with initial changes? I really wouldn't worry about it unless it persists for seven days. Let's see where you are on Friday and let's see where you are again this coming Tuesday. Also, we've got to do that baseline. We've got to see, okay, what's changed, right and then we'll be able to give you more guidance [01:20:30] there. Okay, Ricky... Okay, so Ricky started the Adrenal ReCode in May and now you're here.

Okay, great. You put it on hold, kept taking supplements per Lori Jo's advice. Switched to Candida, did phase two for 10 days, switched back to the ReCode. Okay, where should I start now? Well, it sounds like you got great advice from Lori Jo and you've gotten a lot of the candida under control so you should just start over as if you've never done the Adrenal [01:21:00] ReCode before. Just start over and I think you should get really good results. A lot of... we've got a lot of people who did kick Candida and got thrive that comes to us in the ReCode and you've removed this wonderful immunological burden, the gut burdens.

You've removed a lot of these obstacles to healing and so you can get really good traction now. Okay, Aimee, if the log asked about your heart pounding, I don't [01:21:30] feel that but often my pulse, I feel my pulse throughout my body, especially when I'm lying down. Would that be the same? It is the same? It's just kind of a different experience of heart palpitations and so definitely log that. Okay, Susanne, I'm emotionally dependent on my nightly glass of chardonnay. Well, hey, thank you for sharing and being honest because you're not the only one. Tips, go ahead and have your chardonnay for now, okay? Start to establish your baseline, start to change it and then [01:22:00] we can crowd it out.

Maybe eventually we go every other night within two weeks and then we keep it to three nights a week and two, we'll just see how we go with it but if you're feeling emotionally dependent on something right now, just let that go away naturally instead of trying to force yourself. That's what I mean. Okay. All right. I'm drinking three liters of water and need to go to the toilet three times in the night. When should I stop drinking?

I think three liters is too much, Ene. [01:23:30] I think what's happening... so you have excessive thirst when you have adrenal dysregulation and if you're drinking reverse osmosis water or you're not drinking water with enough minerals, you're kind of effectively rinsing your self out and you're not delivering hydration to the cell. Let's do a little bit less water. Try to go for a liter of water, 32 to 33 ounces for every 50 pounds of body weight and that's going to be somewhere between the two, two and a half liters maximum per day [01:24:00] and Lori Jo, can you paste the link to the concentrated trace minerals and then, I want you to order a bottle of concentrated trace minerals and make sure you get 28 drops in a day, okay?

This is especially for those of you who can't do salt, all right, 28 drops of these concentrated trace minerals in a day so that way you'll have less water and way more hydration. The minerals tastes super vile, they taste gross so you decide. [01:24:30] You just want to get over it and just take 28 drops, some teaspoon, it's like a cough syrup or do you want to put a few drops in each glass of water or each bottle of water that you're drinking. Right now, a lot of you are using the wrong tools but hey, it's at least get the job done but we're going to use the right tool and it's going to feel so much better as you go through. For right now, don't put pressure on yourself.
