San Raffaele Hospital is a clinical research-universityhospital with 49 clinical specialties and over 1300beds; it is accredited by the Italian NHS. In 2012it performed ~26,000 surgical interventions,
~45,000 patient admission, ~65,000 emergency roomencounters and delivered over 7million services. Research atSan Raffaele Hospital focuses on integrating basic,
translational and clinicalresearch to provide themost advanced care toour patients. We count onover 1500 scientists. TheInstitute is recognized as aglobal authority in molecular medicineand gene therapy. Since 2010 our Hospitalalso hosts the International Medical
