-painted – bedroom – moved – furniture – covered - newspaper

Last Saturday, Alwin and his father painted a bedroom in their house. Firstly, they moved the furniture away from the wall. Then, they covered the floor with some old newspaper.

-paint – stirred – stick – poured – dipped - rollers

Alwin opened a big tin of blue paint and stirred the paint with a stick. Then, he poured some paint in a tray. After that, Alwin and his father dipped their rollers into the paint.

-climbed – top – painted – bottom – finished - lunch

Alwin’s father climbed up a ladder so he could paint the top part of the wall. Alwin painted the bottom half. Two hours later, they finished painting the bedroom. While they waited for the paint to dry, they had their lunch together.
